~More Then An Experiment?: Gladion X Reader~

~(y/n)'s P.O.V~

After opening my eyes, I realized that I had teleported us to Gladion's apartment, on Akala island.

I quickly pulled out a Pecha berry, and, fed it to Gladion.

After feeding it, I waited.

Did it work?

My question was answered, when I saw Gladion's eyes open.

"Gladion!" I exclaimed, while trying to fight the urge to hug him.

"Where am I?"

"In your apartment."

"I'm sorry."

"Why are you sorry?"

"Because... I wasn't completely honest with you."

"About...?"

"Team Skull is an evil organization. I had planned to give you over, so, you'd help us rule the world."

I stepped away, emotions coming up to the surface.

...Betrayal...

...Shock...

...Hurt...

"But, know this. Even though I had planned to do such an awful thing, I have no intention of doing it now."

"I... I trusted you. And, you used me. Now, you expect me to trust you? I may be part Pokémon, but, I still have a human heart. And... You think you can fix my torn heart with a simple apology, and, some tape? Sorry, but, that's not how I operate."

~Gladion's P.O.V~

I don't know why, but, my heart shattered at those words.

(y/n) then opened the door, and, ran out.

I ran after her.

But, (y/n) transformed into a Talonflame, making it so I couldn't reach her.

I fell to my knees, in defeat.

I... I need (y/n) back.

But, to do that, I need to earn (y/n)'s trust back.

But... What can I do?
