Do you know who Ethan Nakamura is?
"I'm sorry, who?"
You know, the guy with the eye patch. He kind of stole the Sword of Hades.
"Eh... Still don't know who you're talking about."
I- He betrayed Percy and Kronos at the end of the Titan War and ended up falling off of Mt. Olympus.
"Not ringing any bells."
Hm, how about, I don't know, Michael Yew. He's a son of Apollo.
"Uhhh, the name sounds familiar???"
You see, this is what I'm talking about people! Almost everyone seems to forget about us minor or background characters. Now, I know most of us aren't really significant to the plot or story, but it still kind of hurts. Just to be left in the dust of the bigger, more important characters.
Some people remember us if we pop up again later on, like "Hey it's that guy! They're were from blah blah", but others are just...
"Who is this new character? Wow, seems pretty epic."
Nah, they aren't like that, probably forget about us a couple books/seasons/episodes later, but some of us have some die hard fans or whatever.
(talking about you admin, even though I'm your second favorite character)
Some of us are lucky enough to be picked up, shipped with a major character, and spread across the fandom. An example could be Will Solace. Nobody really picked him up until, maybe, BoO or HoH.
Others... aren't so lucky. People just forget about us a few chapters or a book later. It's actually kind of sad.
There's so much I want to get into, but I doubt it'll fit into one chapter(it probably will, but my admin's lazy). Plus, I'm probably breaking the fourth wall a bit too much at one time.
So, until the next chapter, I guess.
