Can't let you go - [TOMTORD]

day 4

the doctors finally allowed tom to leave the hospital. again. tord felt so relieved when tom's pain extinguished... for now. the two both left the hospital and went back to the car. when they were both sitting in their seat; tord in the drivers, tom in the passengers. tom smiled, "thank you for staying with me, tord... i couldn't ask for anything better.." 

tord nodded, "of course, tom... anything for you.." 

it was getting rather late for them. tord started the car and drove out of the hospital region. he wasn't taking him home, but to a grassy hill for them to sit on for the night.

he began driving away from the city and further into the country part of the town. tom looked out of the window, muddled, "where are we going, tord?"

"somewhere... you'll like it, trust me.."

tom just stared out the window, watching the sun lower beneath the horizon. his audacity attitude from long ago had faded, as a new kind one replaced it. he noticed stars slowly popping out in the sky. they shone brightly up in the dark navy blue empyrean. 

they finally arrived at a hill. they both got out and walked up, holding hands as they did. they sat on the hilltop and gazed up at the night sky. tom was close to tord. close enough to feel his body heat, "this is beautiful, tord.. where did you find this area?"

tord shrugged, "i guess i just found it one time coming to the city... i thought i would share it with you.. of course, it's not like it's a private place or anything... it's uh... nevermind.. but i just thought you'd like it.."

tom smiled, "and i do.. very much.." 

tord turned his head to him, "you've changed a lot since i met you... before you were all this sarcastic seeming person.. now you're... really nice... what happened, may i ask?.."

tom's black voids met with tord's eyes, "the reason?.. you... you've changed me..."

tord, again, blushed, "i did?.."

tom nodded, "a lot... thank you tord... i don't know where i would be without you.." tom got closer and cuddled with tord. his face got really red, but he did enjoy being with tom. he put his arm around him, smiling. 

"that one is really bright..." tom pointed it out, showing tord with his finger. "yeah... it reminds me of you.."

tom laughed a little, "really?" tord nodded. 

the two males laid there, stargazing. the nightfall seemed to be lit up by the celestial body. as it got later, it got colder. tom started to shiver, "it's really cold..." 

"tom.. you're wearing a hoodie..."

"i know... but still..." 

tord had a solution. he grabbed the bottom of his maroon hoodie and put it over tom's head, then it popped out of the head hole. now they were both wearing tord's hoodie. tord laughed and blushed, as did tom. "feel better now?" 

tom nodded, putting his arms around tord. tord as well put his arms around tom, making a hug. 

there was a bright star far above them, which now had been noticed by tom, "look, tord... that one is even brighter..."

tord looked at it, "and so it is.."

"you should make a wish..."

"but how can i make a wish, when my wish has already come true?"
