The Little Guardian (Book 1)

"Ready?" Hiro pats her head. "Do your best. The Black wolf can be tricky. His very fast and sharp."

Princess growl and follow him.

Hiro led her to the warehouse. People walked around town having fun. It was because of the festival. This festival is to honor their ancestors. The very first hunters.

He heard thunder and looked up. The sky light up. Yes, it will be a bloody storm. He went into the warehouse and just waited since other fights were going on. Hiro sat there petting Alia. She just sat there.

"Do your best," Hiro said. "Just so, you know, he has a weakness. His ears. From what I have observed through his fights. He doesn't like anyone bitting his ear. It gets him all mess up. So keep that in mind. Also, never turn your back. He will attack you."

Princess tilts her head.

"Also," Hiro chuckle. "He has never fought a female. So I don't know how he'll react. Don't let him intimidate you. He will try to tame you. He'll dominate you."

She nodded and paced around.

It wasn't long before they were up. Hiro held Princess by the leash. When they enter, the owner and Black wolf were already there. The wolf was already trying to attack.

"Hey, control him," his grandfather said.

"Sorry," the man smile. "He's very anxious to kill."

"He won't be killing anyone," Hiro said.

"We shall see," the man grin.

Hiro glare. He led Princess to the center. He held her leash still. She was calm. She wasn't intimidated by the wolf. No, a tiny bit.

"Alright, let's get ready," a man said. "And go!"

Hiro let Princess go. And she didn't even whimper when the Black Wolf, bite her hind her.

She bit back and made him bleed this will be a long night.

Jaden walked through the town. It was so easy to sneak in. The disguise made them blend in well. Everyone was in some costume.

He looked around. Children ran around. They will be careful not to hurt innocent people.

Jaden sniff around trying to get Alia's scent. And he did. She wasn't far.

He informed his father and Castro. His father gave the signal to advance with the plan.

One of his father men shot a flare up into the sky. And signaling the other men to advance.

And soon the whole town was in chaos as their men rush in, in their wolf's forms. They weren't attacking, merely scaring them away.

"Sir!" A man rushed in. "Where under the attack. The wolf's, there here!"

"What?!" The boss growl. "Impossible they weren't supposed to get here until three days! Everyone get prepared! You two. Let them all loose!"

Hiro nodded and opened the doors. They let all the dangerous wolf's and dogs out. Mostly wolf's. "Princess, go."

Princess and Black both ran out and followed the rest. Hiro got ready. He doesn't want to kill anyone.

These past few days, Hiro changed. And all because of that girl, Alison. She has changed his perspective on this whole hunter thing. He wants to know what the hunters did to her and her family.

He sighed and ran out. He has to find Princess and stop her before she encounters one of her people.

Jaden could smell her. She was so, close.
