A Fallen Star

When I get to the planet with a ass ton of asking people directions I land at the bottom of the mountain. I look up and see steps leading all the way to the top.

"Wow, really. This easy." I say and start towards the steps. When I get fifteen steps up the ground shakes and that's when the steps become flat and I slip off and slide back to the bottom. When I am at the bottom I look at the step and they turn from a slick ramp back to steps. Okay that's weird.

I look around and Leo pops out of my pocket. I watch him hover in front of me and then darts off into the tree line above me. I look all above me for my friend. The a vine drops from above and I watch it carfully. Then a little Leo flys down and lands on my shoulder. I grab the vine and tug on it.  It's seems sturdy enough. I jump and grab onto it and climb up.

Start to climb across the branches pretty easily. I see a platform up ahead and head towards it. When I get to it I kick a branch close by and watch as it falls to the floor. Nothing happens. I drop to the platform. I wait and when nothing happens I shrug and look to Leo who took the easy way and flew.

I looked at the steps as they come continue for what seems like forever. I sigh and step on the first step. The floor began to shake and the set of stairs behind me start to crumble. I look to Leo and he darts up the stairs. I follow right behind him and take two steps at a time as the steps behind me collapsed.

I keep the pace then I see the platform. I leap for the platform as the last step fell. I slid to a stop and I look down at the darkness below. I look up at Leo and he shrugs. Right, he has nothing to worry about.

I stand up and brush off the dirt and dust I collected. I look up at the temple and it is a mere speck on top of the mountain. The she elf said this was hard and she was right. I stepped forward towards the step and felt the floor resist. It felt weird. I pushed harder then a sound cut through the air and I missed a dart by mere centimeters.

I stepped off the button and kneel down. As I do I can see plates and they are thin but still plates. Most likely they are presser plates. I looked around and saw a dracorat.

It has a oval kind of body with small forearms but large back legs. It hops for most of the time but climbs if needed. It has spikes from it's head to tail and it head is flat with an ugly frown with four eyes. These creatures see in thermal vision so he can see my body temperature which makes it hard to sneak up on one of them.

It's got two long fangs and is pure white. At the end of it's tail it has a deadly black Razer blade and can cut through your finger with no trouble at all. I watch as the male leaps on the wall and climbs the vines. He climbs and keeps going up and up. Once he's out of sight I try what he did. I walk to the edge and I scared a few mice while I did so and they​ scampered onto the plates and darts started to fly.

Each mouse squeak and drop to the ground. They started to turn a gross green and there flesh was decomposing. I saw the bones of the mice with in second of them being shot. I swallowed and looked at a shocked Leo. I walk over to the vines on the wall and start to climb as high as I can. I climb and climb until I reach the next platform.

The moment I reach the platform everything goes quiet. I stand up slowly and look up the stairs. There are large squares of darkness in the walls. I step on the first step and nothing happens. I step on another and another and still nothing happened. I walk up a few more and still nothing. I smile and sigh, but I was not paying attention when I hear a menacing growl. I turn to see black cat like creatures emerge from the squares of darkness. They start to run up the stairs after me and that's when I take off running up stairs​.

As I'm running one snags my heel in its grasp and I howl in pain. I press on and run faster and faster. The pain went away for a while and when I saw the next platform I leaped for it and the monsters stop right at the last step I sat there staring at the creature. I then and only then did I noticed they had no eyes only long sharp white teeth dripping a blue ooze and the one I stared at with blue and red ooze. He must be the one that bit me. At that time a rush of fire and pain rushed to that spot.

I screamed and the beasts stop growling and step away from me. I hold my leg and see the ooze seeping in my wound. Leo rushed down to my leg and glowed so bright I had to look away. When he did that the wound went away and I passed out.

A few hours later and I wake in the same spot. My leg healed and I look up at the temple we are almost there. Just one more long haul of steps and we will be there. I stood up and stepped on the first step, but when I did so my vision started to spin and I saw objects refigure and disfigure.

I saw my father with a whip then I saw my mother smiling with a knife sticking out of her stomach. I continue to walk up the stairs. I then see Ark punching my younger self and I feel the pain all over again. I see a key and the master looking down upon me. I continue to crawl.

I then see a Neko. They are a specific species of people who look like cats. She stands above me in pure white. She has black fur with white around her muzzle and hands. She kneels down to me and holds out her hand. I crawl towards her but as I crawl she gets farther away. I stand up and rush towards her and that's when I fall face first on the floor of the temple. I look down at the steps and see just regular steps. What the hell did I just go through? And who was that girl?

I stand up and look at the Grand temple doors and sigh. I made it. I turn around and see an incredible view of the planet of forest and life. I turn towards the doors and step towards them.

Another chapter another day. Sorry I haven't been updating lately I'm involved with this game called Wolf online and I'm almost a level 18 so that's fun and all. Well hope u like this chapter. And I hope there r some new Questions on who is the mysterious girl and what will he find in the temple.
