Percy buried her head in my sweatshirt as she shook.

Tooth gasped out.

"What is it Tooth?" North asked.

"Her memory is so dark." Tooth looked at Percy who grabbed ahold of my sweatshirt and whimpered.

"What is-" North was cut off by Percy's scream.

I pulled her closer against me as she began to struggle.

"You're okay Percy. We aren't going to hurt you." I whispered only to have my ears blasted by another scream.

Percy went limp and the sudden weight of her body pulled me down as her legs gave out.

Sandy pulled me back upright.

"Thanks Sandy." I nodded thankfully. "Now get off of the couch." I directed that to the sitting Guardians.

They quickly stood and allowed me to lay Percy out on the couch.

Looking down at her I sighed.

"What?" Tooth asked

"Nothing. I just want to know why she hid the fact she remembers her life from us."

"Well mate. Maybe she wanted to hide it for a reason. Didn't that guy betray her family?"

"Yeah but he sacrificed himself in the end." I remembered what Percy told me.

"Is it possible that she was doing it to protect us?" Tooth asked.

I shrugged. The only way to know for sure is to ask her when she wakes up.

"The stars are really beautiful tonight." Speaking of Percy, she was staring out the window.

When did she get up?

"Yeah. They are. But-" Tooth got cut off by Percy.

"It's been so long since I've actually talked to you Zoë. Between everything that's happened I kinda forgot." She wasn't paying any attention to us.

"Who is she talking to?" Bunny whispered.

"I don't know. But in her nightmare there was that girl who said something about stars." North said.

"Shh. Listen." I said, bringing our attention back to Percy.

"I was just thinking. Why didn't Artemis bring you back? She easily could have and you were one of her best friends. You died because you were helping us."

She paused and stared up at a constellation which seemed to glow brighter for a second.

"Was it because you loved the stars and she placed you among them? Or was it for some other reason?"

  She paused once more.

"Wherever you are I hope you're enjoying yourself. Oh and Zoë? Bob says hello."

A tear fell down onto the windowsill.

I stepped forward and laid a hand gently on her shoulder. She turned her head to look at me out of the corner of her eye.

"Percy. Who are you talking to?" I wrapped my arms around her from behind.

  She leaned backwards against me.

"A friend who died. She was one of Artemis's closest friends."

Oh. I moved my head so I could peck her on the cheek.

"So where do we go to meet your family?" North asked.

Percy didn't turn to look back at the others, she just kept staring out the window.

"When you meet my family don't reveal who I am. Otherwise...well..."

"Well what?" Tooth asked.

I really want to know too.

"We'll die." She said it so plainly it makes me wonder how many times she's said that.

   "Okay..." North blinked.

"And I'm going to hide you from them. Until I can get it to a point where I know you won't suffer a brain aneurysm."

"Is that a thing?" I've never heard the term.

"I think." Percy chuckled. "But anyway. My family, at least who we are going to see, consists of fourteen members. Maybe more if any of their kids are there."

    Well then.

"And I'll have to threaten someone to get us to them. And if anyone besides three, no four people see me I'll be killed."

"It sounds like you have a very caring family." North spoke, sitting back on the couch.

She laughed, a twinkling sound that reminded me somehow of the sea.

Well she is the Lady of the Sea so...

"I'll be back. I have to go do some stuff." Percy disappeared from the circle of my arms in a spray of mist.

"I will never get used to how she does that." I shook my head.

"Same." Bunny nodded. "But is anyone else confused that she'd warn her entire family and not just the ones who, you know, didn't want to kill her?"

We all nodded.

Something just doesn't add up. There is something Percy isn't telling us.

"Hey guys. Like it?" A cloaked figure appeared.

  And it sounded like Percy.

    "Percy?" Tooth asked.

She nodded. "I told you if my family recognized me I'd die. So I'm going to wear this."

She spun causing her cloak to billow up.

It was a sea green material that looked really delicate yet durable.

If you know what I mean. Netting went over it and the hood's shadow concealed Percy's features.

Pulling down her hood she revealed a mask that shone like mother-of-pearl.

"I think this will work. Now let's go." She clapped her hands and we disappeared in a spray of mist.

Woo. Got that done. Even if it's a bit short.
