The Takeover

"If we let you out of these, you'll control yourself, correct?" the nurses asked. "Y- yes, even though I don't know what I did. The nurses unlock his chains so he can freely move again. Mark walks over to Jack and shakes his shoulder. "Hey, Jack? You okay?" Mark asked. Jack opened his eyes and backed away from Mark as far as he could. "Oh no, what did I do?" Mark said to Jack. "You don't know? You attacked both of us out of, I don't even know why. You just lunged at us." Jack said to Mark. "Oh god, I'm- I'm so sorry. That wasn't- well. It's- complicated." Mark said, trying to think of an explanation. "Mark, come here for a second." Jack said. Mark sat on Jack's bedside, Jack asked Mark to lean over to him. "Open your eyes, wide." Jack said to Mark. "Why?" Mark asked. "Just do it. I need to check something." Jack said. Mark opened his eyes, and they appeared to be normal. "Hmm, weird." Jack said to Mark. "What? What's going on?" Mark asked with confusion. "Your eyes were, weird looking when you attacked me. Why would- oh no. This isn't good." Jack said with worry. "What?" Mark said. "I think you have a demon inside you." Jack said with hesitation. "Uh... I might have something to tell you then." Mark said with regret.

"You do have one?! And you didn't tell us?! What the fuck?!" Jack screamed at Mark. Jack got up and pushed Mark against the wall, pinning him down. "Jack, are you... Anti, let him go!" Mark shouted, thinking Jack was being possessed. "This is all me! I'm not possessed, I'm just that fucking mad at you!" Jack shouted. Jack started to feel dizzy, but he didn't let go of Mark, he just pinned him down harder. Then Anti walks in, not disguised as Felix anymore. "Woah, what did I walk in on? No wonder why people ship you two." Anti said with sarcasm. "Jack, get off of me! Anti, wanna help me here? Wait, Anti?!" Mark said in shock as the room started to shake. Mark started to hear that high-pitched ringing again, so he covered his ears before it got too loud. Anti walked over to Mark while covering his ears as well and looked at Mark, the whites of his eyes were filling with blood, then it disappeared. "Oh, so that's Anti, huh? Doesn't look like much, but when you described him, I thought he would have more muscle." Dark said to Mark. "He does have a lot of muscle." Mark said out loud. Anti looked at Mark with confusion, while Jack looked at him with anger. "Wait, where's Felix?" Mark asked. "He's right here. I'll be back later." Anti said as he hopped out of Felix and into Jack.

"Oh, what happened?" Felix said. Jack was still pinning Mark up against the wall. "Anti, let him go!" Felix said. "He isn't possessed, he's just, really mad with me." Mark said. "Why would he be mad with you? And why did you try to kill us?!" Felix asked. "He has a fucking demon inside of him! And he didn't say a goddamn word about it!" Jack yelled as he pushed Mark even harder against the wall. "Wait, what?!" Felix exclaimed. "Yeah, and he was going to keep this little secret for himself, and not give us any indication what was happening!" Jack yelled. "Jack, calm down! You're not well, you need to relax!" Felix said while trying to grab Jack off of Mark, but to no avail. Jack loosened his grip from Mark, almost stumbling backwards. Jack nearly passed out, but Felix and Mark caught him before he hit the ground. "Jack, you're okay. Just, calm down for a minute. You can beat up Mark when you're well again." Felix said while smiling at Jack. "I deserved that, now let's just get you back to bed Jack." Mark said to Jack. Jack could barely walk, even with Felix and Mark holding him up, and suddenly, he collapses to the floor. "Jack!" Mark and Felix said at the same time. Mark put Jack back on the bed and tried to wake him up while Felix called the nurses to help. About 3 nurses barge into the room and take Jack to critical care.

"Mark, why didn't you tell us you had a demon inside you?! We could have avoided this." Felix said. "I literally only just found out! Jack wouldn't let me explain!" Mark said. "What do you know about him? Do you know anything about him?" Felix asked. "Oh, I can tell you so much, if your patient." Dark said, using Mark to talk to Felix. "Mark? Is that- him?" Felix asked. Mark nodded rapidly, while blood fills the whites of his eyes. Mark starts to morph into Dark almost instantly after Mark nodded his head. Felix backs up towards the wall in fear. "Come, sit down. We can really get to know each other better." Dark said, gesturing to an extra chair. Felix cautiously moves towards Dark and sits in the chair next to him. "Well, Felix. What would you like to know about me? Take your pick, and let's see how far down this rabbit hole really goes." Dark says with a menacing tone. "Uh, what are you like? Do you plan to torture us or kill us?" Felix asked, still intimidated by Dark. Dark scoots his chair a little further away from Felix. "Well, I don't like dealing with people, I'm pretty antisocial myself. I can't handle blood or gore, just being here in this place freaks me out, so no, I don't plan to kill you or torture you by any means. I can be... persuasive when I need to be, and I can hypnotize my so called "victims" as you call them into doing the dirty deed themselves, without me lifting a finger. So, it's not me you need to watch out for, that was all Mark, it was deep in his mind somewhere, wanting to kill you and all, his psychotic side came out and went into action." Dark explains. "What about your look? You look older than Mark, not by much, but it's noticeable. And the suit, with the spiked hair?" Felix said. "You're correct, I am older than Mark, 4 years to be exact. The suit and the hair, that is one thing I always get asked about. You see, I am usually calm and collected, able to calmly talk to people, but when I'm provoked by someone, I get a "dark" side. And don't ask about the ear, it's something that I don't even remember getting." Dark said, sounding calm like he described himself. "I know you haven't possessed Mark for a long time like... you know who, so who were you with before? And what are you besides calm?" Felix asked. "You know anyone by the name Scarlett? Well, I was taking control of her, before she forced me out. Got enough courage to go back to her original life, I controlled her day, after day, after day for the past 2 years, ever since her father was kidnapped by those gang members she was with. And, just a heads up, if you try to send somebody to seduce me or to romance me, don't bother, it won't work on me." Dark said to Felix. "Why? Oh, you're aromantic. I see, but I can't picture that someone like you could have no romantic feelings for others." Felix said. Blood started to fill Dark's eyes. "So desperate to get out, huh? Alright, I'll play nice, for now." Dark said to Mark out loud. "Felix, I sense that we'll meet again." Dark said as he morphed back into Mark.

"Mark, what happened while you were being possessed?" Felix asked him, curious to know what it's like. "Nothing this time, but the first time, I was in a place that looked familiar to me, but I couldn't place it. Wait, where's Jack?" Mark asked. "Uh, he was taken to critical care after what happened." Felix said. "I need to see if he's okay, is he awake or..." Mark asked. "I honestly don't know, I was busy with Dark, that's his name, right?" Felix asked Mark. "Y- yeah, that's hi- his name." Mark said, sounding frightened by Dark. "He is so much easier to handle than Anti." Felix said as the room shakes. "I'll ask the nurse if he is up for visitors." Mark said. Mark came back 3 minutes later, signaling Felix to follow him so they could see Jack. They got to Jack's room and Jack was pretty out of it. "He was really angry when he woke up, so we gave him a sedative to calm him down, so he's pretty out of it at the moment." one of the nurses said. Mark and Felix walked over to Jack and sat next to his bed. "Hey guys, whatcha doing here?" Jack said while slurring his words. "We came to check on you, why else would we be here?" Mark said to Jack (who obviously won't remember this later XD). "Well, Felix, Mark, Dark. I would say it's very nice to see you again, and to meet you Dark, but I have some work to do. Felix, we're going for a little joyride."  Anti said while laughing psychotically. Anti jumped out of Jack and went into Felix. "What the fuck did you just do, Anti?!" Mark yelled at him while the room shook. "Jack can't hold to his, agreement, so I am using Felix to do it for the time being." Anti said. "What do you plan to do?" Mark said. "Yeah, what is a teenager like yourself going to do?" Dark said in a mocking tone. "Come out and I'll show you!" Anti said to Dark angrily.
