Hazel's P.O.V.
The sound of clashing swords and someone shaking my arm woke me up. My eyes shot open and looked up to see Marcel standing over me. I sat up quickly and saw that Peter was no longer next to me. I looked around and saw that Lucy wasn't here either. I immediately became worried.
"Where's Peter and Lucy?" I asked my brother quickly.
"They're in trouble. C'mon!" He said to me.
I stood up quickly and picked my weapons up off the ground. I swung my staff on my shoulder since I wouldn't be able to use it anyways and I kept my sword out. Trumpkin led us through the woods and I heard the sword clashing stop. That made me pick up my pace because I needed to know if Peter and Lucy were alright.
"Peter!" Susan shouted when we finally found him and Lucy.
A sigh of relief escaped my lips when I saw they were fine, but then that's when I realized that they weren't alone. In front of Peter was a boy around his age with black hair. He held his sword while I noticed that Peter's was in a tree. As I looked around, I saw that we were surrounded by Narnians. Minotaurs, fauns, centaurs. They were all here, and I couldn't help but smile at the sight.
"High King Peter." The boy in front of Peter said slowly.
"I believe you called." Peter said, confirming that the boy was indeed Prince Caspian.
"Yes, but.... I thought you'd be older." He said and I couldn't help, but laugh slightly.
"Well if you like, we could come back in a few years." Peter said as he began to turn around from Caspian.
"No!" Caspian said immediately to stop Peter, "It's all right. It's just.... you're not exactly what I expected."
He gazed at all of us for a moment, but his gaze stopped when his eyes landed on Susan. His eyes softened and he smiled lightly at her. She blushed as she smiled at him and looked down. When Caspian turned back towards Peter, Marcel placed his arm around her jokingly and she slapped his arm. She looked at me and I couldn't help but smirk at her. She just blushed even more and put her head down as a small smile formed on her face again.
"Neither are you." Edmund said as he eyed one of the minotaurs near him. At first I was confused, but then I understood what he was thinking. The last time we were here, the minotaurs were on the witch's side. Why are they on our side now?
"A common enemy unites even the oldest of foes." A badger near another dwarf said to Edmund, who noticed that Edmund was eyeing the minotaurs. A small mouse with a sword and a feather by his ear came around the badger and stood in front of Peter. He was so cute!
"We have anxiously awaited your return, my liege." The mouse said as he bowed and a small smile grew on Peter's face, "Our hearts and swords are at your service."
"Oh my gosh, he is so cute!" Lucy whispered to Susan and I and we both nodded in agreement.
"Who said that?!" The mouse yelled as he pulled out his small sword quickly. Lucy looked down at him with a small smile and held her hands together.
"Sorry." She apologized to him and the mouse immediately began to stutter because of the way he just talked to her.
"Oh, uh your majesty, with the greatest respect, I do believe 'courageous,' 'courteous,' or 'chivalrous' might befit a knight of Narnia." The mouse said to her.
"Well, at least we know some of you can handle a blade." Peter said to him with a small smile still on his face.
"Yes indeed, and I have been recently putting it to good use, securing weapons for your army, sire." The mouse said to him as he put his sword away.
