CHAPTER FIVE

"Thank you for this, Seonho. I can truly say that you're not a killer anymore," I said.

He eyed me as if he was surprised at what I said.

"I told you. I'm not a bad person."

The urge to ask him is real! But I need to calm down my curious self because maybe he doesn't want to talk about it? But nothing hurts in trying, right?

"So, Seonho. You're a trainee right?"

After I said that, he looked taken a back. He looks shocked to hear my question.

He didn't answer for a while.

I'm actually regretting why I did it though. Maybe, he's not that comfortable with the topic?

"I'm a trainee in Cube Entertainment."

Wait. I think I know this guy? Have I seen him before?

"Klara, I'll tell you a secret."

What could this be?

"Ever watched Produce 101 Season 2? The show aired 2 years ago."

I knew it! I knew he looked so familiar. But why was he here? Isn't he supposed to be training in Korea or something?

"After I got eliminated, I went back to being a trainee again."

Produce 101 Season 2 was indeed a mess because of Mnet, but the trainees are so hardworking and handsome!

Of course, I remember him and the other trainee. Wait, who was the other one again?

"Is that why you always wear a mask on your face to avoid being interrupted by sasaengs?" I can't help but ask.

He just shrugged and continued eating his food.

"But why are you here?" I asked again.

He paused.

"I told you, I came here to learn English. Another reason is that, my co-trainee is here learning too."

"Really?"

I almost choked on my food as soon as I found out Seonho's secret and the main reason why he's here.

"How could that be? Why aren't you in Korea right now?"

It still hasn't sunk in to me. I still can't believe everything he's saying?

"Do you have proof?"

He got his phone and showed me a picture of him and his co-trainee. His co-trainee seems so familiar!

Is that Lai Guanlin from Wanna One? I want to know.

"Seonho, is that Lai Guanlin from Wanna One?"

He looked at me and nodded.

"Guanlin and I joined Produce 101 together, but sadly I didn't make it and he did. After that, I went back to being a trainee again. After Wanna One's promotions, Guanlin and I reunited and we trained together."

So that explains it. Does this mean, Guanlin is here with him?

NOTE

Short chapter because I don't feel like writing that much and I still haven't moved on over the fact that Guanlin and Seonho got separated.

Anyway, this story is in the future! Where the byeongaris are now reunited :)
