*senior year*
Its been two months since Emily got out of the hospital. People are giving her crap but I tell her to ignore them. I never really asked her why she wanted to- you know. I guess when she is ready. "Hey. I was wondering if you wanted to go to the park after school?" Dylan says walking up to me. I give him a look as I open my locker to grab my English book. "It's October." I say. "It's going to be cold." He just looks at me waiting for me to answer. "Fine. You win." I joke. He rolls his eyes and laughs. "I got to go meet yo with the principal. Catch you later?" He says. "Yeah." I say shutting my locker as I watch him run down the hallway. Yes. Run.
After school I meet up with dylan at his car and we went to the park. It wasn't as cold as I thought it was supposed to be. But it was still chilly. We went under our usual spot underneath the tree. "So Why Did you want to hangout?" I ask. He shrugs. "Were friends right?" He asks. Great. The f word. "Yeah. Why?" I ask. "No reason." He replies. I roll my eyes and look up at the tree as it's leaves change color and fall to the ground. It's so beautiful. When I look back at dylan his eyes are on me. I smile. "What?" I ask. "Stand up." He says. I stand up giving him a weird look. "Can I have this dance?" He alas reaching for my hand. I laugh. "I would love that." I say giving him my hand. We danced all around the tree. But what was most romantic was he was humming my favorite classical song. He pulled apart after he finished humming and looked me in the eyes. "You are so beautiful." He says to me. All I could do was smile. Before I could say anything after he kisses me. It was like we were floating on clouds. It was so romantic. Kissing underneath a beautiful tree with the leaves colored orange and yellow and red! It was the most amazing thing.
When he dropped me off I gave him a quick kiss and thanked him. I immediately texted Emily about all of it! "That's so romantic Katie!! I'm so jealous." She says. I can't blame her;) "I know right?!? I think I am falling for him all over again." I reply. "Listen I have to go but I want to hear more of it tomorrow! All of it." She texts. I smile and simply type "ok"
