'RINA!' I looked at Amanda. She's my bestfriend since High School. She had a long dark hair and like me, she loves to wear jeans and t-shirt whenever we're in school or not and she knows who I am.

'Hey Manda' I called her by her nickname.

She rolled her eyes and give me a disgusting look.

'Don't call me that' she said, she grabbed my arms and led the way to the canteen.

As we entered the canteen, many students were there. Of course! It's 12:00 pm, it's lunch time.

'Urgh! Daming students at walang bakanteng upuan' she said.

Dumiretso kami sa Cashier Station na may mga nagkumpulang estudyante na nag-line upang bumili.

'This is why I hate eating here' Manda said as we reached the end of the line.

It takes us 5 minutes para makarating kami sa cashier.

'2 fried chicken, 2 rice, 2 Coke and 4 slice of cake' Manda quickly gave the money to the cashier.

'Total of 245 pesos Ma'am. You gave me 500 pesos and here's the change 255 pesos' sabi ng Cashier at inabot ang sukli kay Manda.

Nang matapos kaming bumili ay humanap kami ng bakanteng lamesa.

We searched everywhere pero wala talagang bakanteng lamesa.

'Tsk! San naman tayo kakain?' Madan murmered.

'Sa Rooftop?' I suggest.

Biglang nagliwanag ang mukha ni Manda at wala sabing hinila niya ako palabas ng canteen dala ang mga pagkain namin.

'T-Teka Manda! Yung pagkain' sabi ko.

Napatigil siya sa paglalakad at tinignan ako.

'Sorry Rina' she said.

'It's okay'

Dumiretso kami sa College of Enginering a.k.a COE, sumakay ng Elevator at pinindot ang RT.

'Mabuti at naisipan mo ang rooftop Rina' magiliw na sabi ni Manda.

'Doon naman ako kumakain kapag hindi kita nasasabay kumain'

Nang makarating na kami sa rooftop. Cold wind greeted us.

'Cold' Manda said as she put her food on the table. Inilagay ko na rin yung pagkain ko.

'May bagyo yata'  I said as I quickly eat my foods. I'm starving!

'Mabuti nadala ko yung payong ko. Eh ikaw?'

'Wala'

'Aisshh, naku Rina! Ba't mo nakalimutan?'

'I simply forgot it. Don't worry sasakay naman ako ng jeep eh' sabi ko.

'You're still wet kahit sasakay ka ng jeep' sabi niya. Huminto muna siyang kumain at may kinuha sa bag.

'Gamitin mo yan' iniabot niya sa akin ang payong niya. 'At sasabay ka sa akin. Kasama ko si Kuya, dito rin kasi siya nag-aaral'

It took me minutes para makapag react sa sinabi niya.

'K-Kuya?' I asked, disbelief.

Manda froze. I looked at her, disbelief. She didn't tell me. She didn't tell she had a brother?!

'Yeah' she said and sighed.

'You didn't tell me' I said.

'I'm sorry Rina. Ako nga hindi makapaniwala eh' sabi niya.
