HAUNTED ANIMATION: MEMORIES

90 10 4

I meant to put this out about a week ago, but life happened. Things are really tough right now, and I don't want to get into all of that.

Meanwhile, I'm starting to wonder if video updates are connected to my updates, because about a week ago I started binge-writing a one-shot (before life happened of course). I don't know how much longer is left for writing it, but I plan on posting it within a few days from now. Hopefully. If life doesn't continue to go downhill.

-"Apocalypse" by Ross Bugden

GAH THIS VIDEO WAS FEELSY!!! ALSO, WHAT'S WITH THE SURGE OF DEPRESSED GRAYSON ALL OF A SUDDEN? I THOUGHT THAT IT WAS OBVIOUS WITHOUT THIS VIDEO.

Let's Go On An Adventure

-No dialogue or anything. That's one of my go-to's for a feels story, especially if the character is alone.

-Also, really awesome use of crickets and full moon. Is it a thing for fantasy worlds to ALWAYS have a full moon?

-Is that the  House? It's hard to tell in the dark. Well, this IS called "Memories." Okay, so we have a time-frame for this, good.

-*after a long and dangerous trek into the dark abyss that is my basement later* Well, I'm starting to think that it's the ruins of his old Empire house. I don't know, it's one of two places.

-Footsteps, footsteps...don't watch Supernatural before watching the animated short, kids.

-GAH, a lonely guy staring into the fire absently, another feels go-to. If you think that I'm a feelsy person, please proceed to watch this. Thank you.

-Okay, maybe it's the ruins of another house because the "memory" house doesn't match up. Tell me again why I am obsessing over the setting?

-So many yells... Some see the West as being the better half of the Empire, and in some way, that's the case. However, the yells are angry, leading me to conclude that it was an angry mob because I don't think that the mercenaries would be yelling as they burn down a mansion. Then again, all medieval guards are idiots (and futuristic ones; all background characters are idiots).

-Where did Grayson get the green cloak from? G. C. Penney? (Game Crown Penney).

-And we have a brownified image of what his wife and son looked like.

-The kid looks a lot older than I thought. Wasn't it only four years in between The Haunting and The Haunted? Think about it. Grayson admitted to wanting to find the Magic Library to hatch something for over two years. I've concluded that was when he stole the Egg. A pregnancy is roughly nine months, a quarter of a year. Even if Grayson IMMEDIATELY married his wife (so hard not to call her by the name I gave her long ago), the oldest the kid can be is one year and three months. Thoughts?

-Nameless, fameless guards of death

-Crap, his wife probably sees Grayson off in the distance.

-I think that her eyes are a dark blue?

-Two nooses, not creepy at all.

-The fact that the townspeople can blabber in the background... Welcome to the Great Purge.

-Better yet, welcome to Game of Thrones.

-There's a crow cawing in the background. More of a feels touch.

-Did anyone else see that one guy (1:25) with one pupil, one blank eye? Coincidence?

-Grayson keeping his hood up would be a wonderful disguise if other people were doing it. As it is, only the executioner has his hood up. Grayson's standing out in his attempt to blend in.

-Hanging a child? That's just awful! There are several execution techniques, and I want to say that drowning was the most common of them. The Empire probably knew that Grayson was watching and chose this because it was feelsier. DOWN WITH THE EMPIRE!

-Okay, black hair, bluish-grey eyes (currently behind a blindfold). Got it.

-Red cross over the face instead of purple? I know that the colors are red and blue, but the assassin had purple detail on his outfit. Okay, good to know.

-Run, Grayson, run!

-SNAP! Not a silent hand gesture, a snap.

-Cut to black...

-Then it was too late.

-Why are her feet bare? Or his? You can't exactly tell.

-SO MANY FREAKING TEARS!!! I was staying quiet about them for now, but no more. You're not allowed to claim that I break the feels when this exists.

-Creepy sound...

-Herobrine was the executioner? Fuck. Fuck. Grayson was never safe, was he? His life in the Empire was nothing but one of Herobrine's twisted games.

-Something thumped upstairs, and I thought that it was the video for a second.

-Then the glitching ensues.

-Good thing that Grayson turned tail and fled. Bad thing that Herobrine IS indeed a part of the Empire.

-Only three bloody pursuers? Okay, this makes stormtroopers, Camelotian guards, the entire cast of horror movies, Star Trek's Federation, Detective Anderson, and everyone else look brilliant. Okay, maybe not Anderson.

-He's just letting himself sink to the bottom of the lake/river thing. Great, now I need to track down the almost-suicide one-shot from a long time ago...

-Okay, chapter 19, "Cause and Effect." You know what, after this, I am going to go through my old one-shots and revamp them all. My writing has improved SO much.

-A mystical golden light is hanging around Grayson as he WASHES UP on a shore, not swam up on the shore. Slowly, the fandom is coming to realize the exact extent of Grayson's emotions.

-Tweets and waves, wonderful sounds. I would fall asleep to those.

-Crap, WE NEED MORE!

Pretty much this episode gave us a look into what the Empire looks like and what other characters look like. Minecraft is indeed a limiting medium. We also get sort of confirmation that Grayson is depressed (which I've been saying for years).

I suppose that I must bother life now.
