Vulnerable

[In the beginning you and Barry are around 10 and 11 years old plus forgive me if i forgot how Barrys homewas set up or how Nora dies and when she dies ;-;'.]
14 years ago...
    (Y/n) and Barry jolted awake, they could here a agonizing or hellish scream from downstairs. The innocent children both looked at  another before one asked ;
               "You hear it too?"
  The younger female nodded at Barry.
         "I hope everything is okay. That doesn't sound to good." (Y/n) replied.
          "Let's go check it out." Barry suggested and without a plan both children left Barry's room to find the source. Once they arrived they had both wished neither of them had cane down stairs.
     " Mom!" Barry yelled at the sight of his practically dead mother. While
(Y/n) stood there stuck staring at the flashing lights in the room.
                  'Red and yellow.'
  The colors felt like déjà vu, she had seen them somewhere. She was ripped from her thoughts when a yellow flash grabbed her.
          "Let me go!Let go!Barry!Help me!" (Y/n) cried for help out of frustration and fear. That lasted for only what felt as if it were a second once she was thrown by a force and caught by a red flash.
          " You called for help?" The light asked?
     As thankful as she was (Y/n) couldn't help but reply back.
          "I called for Barry.."
It laughed and muttered something quickly before grabbing her and flashing over to 'Barry'. Then the lights dissappeared leaving no evidence to give anyone to belive either of the children . Some even believed the both of them to be crazy. So they made a promise:
    "(Y/n)?" Barry called out to her that night in the police car while rubbing away a tear.
   "Yeah Barry?" (Y/n) replied giving him her full attention.
  " Can you peomise me you'll never turn your back on me no matter hoelw crazy something sounds?" He questioned with a sniffle.
    " Deal!Will you promise to never leave me no matter what promise we'll be together forever?" (Y/n) asked making their promise even.
  "Of course." Barry said giving a small laugh while holding his hand out. Only to have it pushed away and enveloped in a hug.
                "It's official then."

March 18th, another anniversary for Nora's death. But for (Y/n) it also represents another day for Barry to be awake and alive.
   "Hey Gummie Bear..how are you?" (Y/n) asked over the phone while cooking dinner for herself.
  "Better since you called, how have you been?" Barry spoke trying to keep a normal voice. Knowing her friend well (Y/n) tried cheering him up.
    " A superhero asking me? Moi about my day?"
    "Don't be a tease (Y/n)" 
      "Fine let me think."
There was a long pause until he heard a scream and a clatter.
    "Hello?" A familiar voice asked.
   "Reverse-Flash what did you do with (Y/n)?" Barry barked at his phone while stopping his research in S.T.A.R. labs to get his suit.
  "Tsk-tsk be patient Flash,you'll find her on the tallest building in Star City hopefully." He said before hanging up.

   The Reverse-Flash had many plans in mindbefore he'd just 'give her back'.
      " Before your Barry comes to save  you let's play." He said smirking and inching closer to his now tied up toy.

   Bad Ending (( original))
    Barry was flashed over as fast as possible. But, what had really made him run was when he saw (Y/n) falling off the tip of the building. Building up enought speed he managed to catch her while she was still falling. Safely bringing her on top of the building  he had noticed her tied up body. Untying her Barry noticed when she limply fell.
     "(Y/n)?" He called out for her trying to shake her awake.
     "(Y/n)?!" He cried shaking her harder.
    "(Y/n)! Come on wake up I can't lose you too! We made a promise remember? You can't leave me here by myself!I can't live her without you!" Barry yelled while cradling
(Y/n)'s body. Tears blurred his vision as he kissed her corpse.
        "Please wake up..I love you."

  Cisco gasped as he let go of your shoulder. Shaking his head while everyone watched him in concern. Extending your hand to him he backed away.
          " Your dead." He muttered.
   " What? Cisco are you feeling alright?" You asked him out of concern.
    Cisco looked at Barry hard.
    "Tell her you love her before Dr.Wells kills her first."
     You and Barry paled at Cisco's choice of words and his behavior.
     Choking down what he had said you froze.Before Cisco brushed past you muttering 'That promise was a curse'.
 

In the end, promises are just words.

I think I have a problem I keep writing sad one-shots ;-;' oh boy...
