So here's the Namelessshipping oneshot requested by Dark_EeveeXx

Also, most of my oneshots tend to run at least 5-9 pages on the word documents on my phone. I got a little carried away and this one ended up as 21 pages. I'm going to post it in three parts, sorry for the inconvenience, I hope you like it anyway XD Due to the fact that it's longer there may be a few more typos than usual that I didn't catch, sorry.
Enjoy!

Love has many hardships. Red had come to know that well. It hurt, so why even need it? That's what he thought. No one would love him, so why love anyone in return. The only welcoming thing in his life was the encompassing cold of the mountaintop cave, it's rigid chills made him feel isolated and safe.

Red glanced around the small cave, there wasn't much to look at. His sleeping bag was lazily thrown in the corner, his food supply was put near the entrance with ice around it to keep it cold, a small fire shone in the middle of the cave, and the raging blizzard covered his view of the outside world.

He felt something jump and settle on his shoulder, soft yellow fur pressing against his cheek. He scratched under Pikachu's chin and the mouse exclaimed in joy.

Red smiled. He could always count on his Pokemon too. He released his Pokemon from their Pokéballs and let them stretch. His Snorlax hugged him and Venusaur rested his head on Red's leg. Charizard spurred the fire on a little more, and Blastoise and Lapras replenished the ice around the food bag. Yes, his Pokemon loved him, and he loved his Pokemon.

Then why was there still a void in his heart?

He was rubbing Venusaur's head when he felt something buzz, a small chiming note coming from his Pokegear, causing Venusaur to jump. He looked at his wrist, a person's face showing up on the screen.

The person had spiky brown hair and large brown eyes that seemed to stare right through Red.

Green.

"Heya Red! How's it going?" Green asked in a cheerful voice, like it hadn't been four years since they last talked.

"..." Red grunted in response, trying not to make eye contact by looking at Pikachu instead.

"Still as silent as ever I see. Well anyway, I was wondering if you wanted to come down and hang out for a little while. Is that cool?" Green's eyes sparkled and Red had no idea what was going on.

His face must've shown it because Green immediately responded, "I just thought it would be cool to hang out every once in a while with my friend. We haven't really gotten to in a while, so yeah." he trailed off.

Red didn't know what to say, he hadn't spoken to Green in years and all of a sudden they were friends?

Red looked over at Pikachu, who nodded as if telling him to go. Red nodded to Green, he wanted to see what this was about, plus it would be nice to let his Pokemon take a break from the harsh mountain air.

"Great! Wow, that's great. Thank you. Umm... Meet me by my house tomorrow. Is that okay?" Green sounded overjoyed and Red was still trying to piece this together.

Red just nodded again, "Wow this is great. I can't wait to see you, see ya later!" Green ended the call, leaving Red dazed. What the hell was that?

Red put his Pokemon away in their Pokéballs and spread out his sleeping bag, laying down.

'I can't wait to see you...' Green's words shook in Red's skull. He knew the brown haired male didn't mean anything by it, but Red couldn't help but get a warm feeling from the words.
