Chapter 2:
Jealous! Karma x Reader

"Karma-kun, I really need some help with studying. Do you think you can help me?" It was after school and everyone was on their way leaving. The midterm was coming up and you really wanted to get a good grade.

"No can do, (Y/n). Too busy to tutor you." You furrowed your brows as Karma started to get up and leave the classroom.

To say you were saddened was an understatement. You've known Karma for a couple of years already and you two become pretty good friends. And while you two know each other, you fell for the sarcastic, tough being that is Karma. And it hurts that he just disregarded you so easily.

You sighed, trying to find the best in this and started packing up to go home.

"(Y/n)-san?" You turned your head towards the blue haired boy that called your name.

"Hello Nagisa-kun!" He was also your friend, and to you, he was probably the kindest person you knew.

"Would you like me to study with you? I don't mind and it'll help us both to explain things the other doesn't know to each other."

You smiled at him and nodded, "Sure! Thanks Nagisa-kun! You're the best. You want to walk home together?"

As you and Nagisa started walking back home, you two didn't notice a pair of golden eyes glaring at you.

"Ne, Nagisa-kun. How do you do this?"

It was break time, and you were having some trouble working a problem. Nagisa quickly helped you work out the problem, and guided you through the problem.

"Ah, I get it now! Thanks Nagisa-kun, you're the best!"

"Don't you mean that I'm the best, (Y/n)?" You looked up and saw Karma smirk at you.

You chuckled at Karma's remark, your heartbeat speeding up a little. You shook your head as you looked at Karma.

"Whatever you say, Karma-kun!" You went back to talking to Nagisa as Karma just stood there and fumed. He scoffed and went back to his seat, doing his own thing while occasionally looking at you and Nagisa talking.

"(Y/n), let's go to the game store. They have this new game that just came out and I want to buy it."

"Sorry Karma, I'm going to Nagisa to study. Maybe next time? See ya!" You gave him a small smile before following Nagisa out of the classroom. From the corner of Nagisa's eye, he saw Karma glare at them. Nagisa silently chuckled, already knowing of his friend's infatuation with you.

'Maybe just one more push will do it.' Nagisa thought.

As for Karma, he just kept on grumbling, shoving his things into his bag. Koro-sensei was still in the classroom and sensed Karma's frustrations.

"Karma-san, is everything alright?" he asked.

Karma sighed and nodded, "Just fine Koro-sensei."

Though, being Koro-sensei, he already knew what his student angry about. He inwardly smirked as he began to write in his book.

"Very well, hehe. I may say though, aren't (Y/n) and Nagisa a cute couple? I must write this down. This could be an amazing love story. Don't you think?" Koro-sensei glanced up at Karma, only to see him leave the room quickly. And in the next moment, he saw a tree outside being taken down.

"Ah, someone has anger issues." Koro-sensei laughed while he started packing his own things.

"Karma, are you alright? You don't look so well." You looked at Karma, worry in your eyes. He just waved you off.

"It's nothing (Y/n). I'm fine." Karma sighed and looked away from you, continuing his work. You took one more look at him before sighing yourself and walking back to your seat next to Nagisa.

"Nagisa, I think something's wrong with Karma. He's not feeling like himself."

Nagisa, already knowing what was going on with Karma just smiled, "I'm sure he's just having a bad day. But let's walk home together today, okay?" You merely nodded and just started chatting with Nagisa.

'Hopefully Karma doesn't kill me though.' Nagisa thought as he continued talking to you.

It was finally the end of the day and you were getting to leave with Nagisa. He made sure that Karma would be directly behind you two as you walked down the hill. Nagisa waited for him making sure that Karma would be directly behind you two as you walked down the hill. Nagisa waited for the perfect opportunity. He could already feel Karma's anger.

'Here goes nothing.'

In one step Nagisa accidentally tripped, taking your arm and bringing you down with him. You two rolled for a bit before you stopped.

"Ow, that hurt. Are you okay...Nagisa!" You opened your eyes and immediately a blush overtook your entire being. As you were laying, facing up, Nagisa was on top of you. You were about to tell him to get off before he was yanked away and you were being dragged away from him.

You looked at the person taking you away and blushed again as you saw Karma. Though, he had a glare on his face as he took you deeper and deeper into the forest. It was only a few minutes before you two stopped.

"Karma? Are you o-"

"Do you like Nagisa?" Karma asked, well more like demanded. You were confused.

"What? I don't know-"

"Do you like Nagisa. You're always around him, it makes me sick." You saw him slightly pout as he looked away from him. It was kind of cute and it made your heart skip a beat.

"I don't like Nagisa. He's just a friend, and he's helping me study." You walked closer to the red haired boy.

"In fact," you said, "I like you, Karma." You looked down, already regretting what you said. No one said anything for a few minutes and you already considered the worse. You coughed as tears started to appear in your eyes.

"It's okay, just forgot what I just-"

"I like you too, idiot."

Your eyes widened as you lifted your head to look at him. Karma was looking the other way, but you could see an apparent blush on his cheeks. You smiled and laughed as Karma playfully glared at you.

"I'm helping you study by the way. Tell Nagisa that he doesn't need to anymore."

You giggled as you and Karma walked back out into the road, continuing your ways back home. You'd have to thank Nagisa later though for his ingenious plan.
