imagine meeting tyler's parents.
sitting in tyler's room, he's showing you pictures that he has taken of you today.
coming across a candid of you laughing, tyler smiles. "that's my favourite picture of you."
"tyler! sweetie! we're home," a voice shouts, "oh no (Y/N), hide in the closet or something."
you quietly laugh. "tyler, calm down. i think your parents will be very happy to see that you have a girl in your room."
the bedroom door opens and it's tyler's parents. "oh! a girl... tyler, who is this pretty girl?" his mom smiles.
tyler scratches the back of his head. "uh... this is (Y/N), my science partner."
you correct him. "no, i'm (Y/N), tyler's girlfriend. nice to meet you."
tyler's parents shut the door and when you leave an hour later, his mom asks him to come downstairs for a talk.
"me and your father are so pleased to see that you have a girlfriend. tyler, you can do whatever you want. don't hide (Y/N), we love her already."
