"You're mad." Crowley panted, pulling away a little breathless. Ferid cocked his head in confusion. He had this a lot, but he didn't recall doing anything recently that could gain him the title.
"How so?" He questioned, and Crowley shook his head with a happy smile.
"It doesn't matter." He mumbled, leaning in to return to their kissing session.Kissing was like a new drug to them. And they was addicted. They never stopped. Each kiss would be longer and more passionate than the previous. They hadn't stopped for a full two weeks. Chess and Horn were starting to get suspicious. Every two minutes Crowley would make some random excuse and then run away to Ferid. Or course, they hadn't told anybody. It'd be a bad idea to share the information of their dating (that was what Crowley had managed to sum it up to, despite not actually talking about it to Ferid.
Eventually, Crowley pulled away once more. Ferid pouted, looking disappointed as he gazed at the string of saliva that connected them together still. He then let his gaze flit back up to Crowley's eyes, pulling away.
The string snapped.
"I need to get going." Crowley excused himself, standing up almost immediately.
"Why are you in such a rush, Crowley-Kun~?" Ferid called. Said 'Crowley-Kun' have Ferid a sad smile, before speaking.
"I have to go and work. Organise things. For your entertainment."Ferid knew exactly what he meant. Being the kind of guy that he was, Ferid had had an inkling that Krul would leave Mikaela Hyakuya in his care. There was no way that he could remain in her own care, with the vampire council breathing down her neck about every little thing that she did. Keeping a Seraph close to her was even more Taboo than everything else that the vampire council probably suspected her of doing. And even more Taboo than everything that Lest Karr did suspect her of doing. Seeing as Ferid was one of the higher ranked Nobles in Japan at the time, and knew Mikaela better than most (killing the child's entire family in front of his very eyes gave you a bond that was unbreakable and unmatched) then Krul would most definitely leave Mika with him.
And with this thought, Ferid had left Crowley Eusford, (his new drug and also most trusted underling) with the job of preparing a sleeping quarters for the young halfling.
He had also insisted that Crowley try and leave some entertainment in the room for him as well: a game console or a bookshelf full of intellectual books. Naturally, Crowley had argued that getting a game console for Mikaela would be difficult because it was a very humane object, but getting a bookshelf with intellectual books wouldn't be too difficult. All you needed to do for that one was walk down the largest hallway of Ferid's mansion, make a left next to his prized ribbon room and head into the library.
"Do I get a goodbye kiss?" Ferid asked, as Crowley made his way towards the door.
"No, you don't. Because then I'd never leave." He chuckled and left.He left Ferid to his own, usually dangerous brain. Which was a bad idea. Luckily, Ferid wasn't in the mood to be coining dangerous plans. So he trotted over to the mirror, combed his long hair and then made his way to the ribbon room.
He picked a red ribbon out, and replaced his current lilac one with it. He had a blue one tied around his neck today. There was a knock on the door, and Ferid whistled to let the guest know that whey were free to enter.
One of Krul's personal servants was stood there. He looked nervous, with a grey hood pulled over his head and his sweaty hands clasping at the grey cloak he donned. Ferid surmised that visiting the creepy 7th Progenitors mansion was not on this vampires To Do list for the day, and he was very uncomfortable with the new addition to said list.
"Problem~?" Ferid called, gazing at the vampire and tilting his head. He smirked a little, and it was easy to see a shiver go up the servants spine.
"Yes Lord Ferid. I mean no Lord Ferid. I mean...Queen Krul has requested an urgent meeting with you. She will not disclose the details with me, but she insisted that you must go to her within the next three minutes or she will be very angry." The servant stuttered, and Ferid couldn't help but roll his eyes.He stood up from his perch, jumped across the room at vampiric speeds and stuffed a clawed hand through the chest of said servant.
"L-Lord Ferid..." The servant managed, blood rising from his throat and trickling down his mouth.
"Pathetic servant. Try not be so nervous. It sends the wrong message across." Ferid advised, pulling his gloved hand out of the vampire's chest. The wound closed quickly, but the servant was still in shock. He wiped the blood from his mouth, nodding quickly.
"Yes, Lord Ferid."♢♢♢
"Attacking my servants are we, Ferid Bathory?" Krul called, stating Ferid's name with a certain tone of disgust that she only ever managed to achieve at the thought of both Lest Karr and Ferid Bathory.
"You saw that, did you? How amusing. You shouldn't send such pathetic servants."Ferid paused and gazed at the blonde boy who stood next to Krul's chair. He looked very surprised that somebody would speak to the Queen of Vampire Japan with such little respect, but when he recognised that said vampire was none other than the man who killed his friends, Mikaela Hyakuya started to look angry instead. His fists tightened, and he gazed at the floor with tears spilling from his eyes.
"Mika~' Ferid called comfortingly, gaining a disgusted tut from Krul's direction."So, you're going to put Mika into my custody?" Ferid presumed, reverting us gaze back to Krul who looked angry as she sat on her throne.
"Urgh!" Krul let out an angry side, unable to control her anger at Ferid's intellect. "God damn you Ferid Bathory! Guessing correctly without me even telling you. You had this planned from the beginning, didn't you?!" She accused. Ferid held his hands up as if pleading from mercy and opened his mouth to let out a dry and humourless laugh.
"Using God's name in vain to curse me? Careful my Queen, you wouldn't want him to send an angel down and judge you harshly for your crimes."The angel that Ferid was referring to was of course a Seraph of the End, and it was clear that Krul knew this fact as she launched across the room and attacked Ferid. Ferid did not make an effort to move. He knew that Krul would never kill him. He was too smart to provoke her to such lengths. Instead, she used her nails to slice off his head. Ferid chuckled, his hands catching his head as his body stood creepily.
"How could you do such a thing in front of poor little Mikaela~? You'll give the poor boy nightmares~" He gasped, as two of his attendants rushed forwards. They worked on sewing his head back on immediately.♢♢♢
Ferid walked out the hall with the young Mikaela following. The blonde raced to keep up with Ferid's steps, and he kept his head low. Ferid walked very quickly, taking long strides.
He paused by a bin, throwing the lilac ribbon in. The lilac ribbon had been in his pocket all this time, after the meeting with Krul with stopped him from properly disposing of it. Ferid Bathory never wore the same ribbon twice, and said lilac ribbon had now been worn twice.
Once, at Ferid's funeral to the young Hyakuya's that he killed. Yes, he held a funeral for them. Nobody attended apart from Crowley, Chess and Horn, so nobody noticed the fact that the closed coffins were empty. The bodies (and head) of the killed children were being moved to another of Ferid's mansions, where he would have them preserved for a later date. The children had been incorporated into Ferid's wicked schemes, even when their little hearts weren't fluttering like they used to. The second time the ribbon worn was during Ferid's previous kissing session with Crowley. It was common for Ferid to change his ribbon depending on events. Henceforth, changing ribbons more than once a day was a very common occurance.
A/N: That was a long chapter at nearly 1500 words! The actual word count for the chapter (without the A/N here) is 1416.
Also, instead of putting "Time skip" next to every time skip I do, I'm going to do the same thing as the light novel does by putting little diamonds there. Because diamonds are cool. Just as cool as Ferid Bathory and Crowley Eusford's secret make out sessions.Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this chapter. As you can see, I'm trying my best update once every day.
Oh look, now I'm at 1513 words.
