I stand with Oliver when the chief of the fire department walks up. "Hi. Mr. Queen, this is spectacular. Ahh. The Starling City Firemen's Relief Association can't thank you enough."
"You guys are the real heroes. Like at the Nodell Tower fire, which I've been reading up on."
"Oh, yeah?"
"Garfield Lynns was the first man to die in your unit. Now, I read that they recovered his coat in the wreckage, but they never found his body?"
"You always interrogate your club's guests, Mr. Queen?" "
"Why? Do you feel like you're being interrogated? You could see it on your face at the fire station. There's more to the Nodell Tower fire than people know about, isn't there?"
"I've been doing this a long time and I've never seen a fire like that. It's like some monster out of a science fiction movie. I radioed for my men to get the hell out of there. But Lynns, he wouldn't go. Begged me to send the unit back in. But I wouldn't do it. I couldn't. God help me, I left him to burn. But I can't bring him back. You don't have to."
''he's back." I blurt.
"What the hell you talkin' about?"
"Garfield Lynns killed Danny. And the other men on your unit." Oliver explains.
"There's no way he could have survived that fire."
"Your be suprised by what people could do for vengeance." I say.
"You two are insane. Gar did not make it out of that building. Just like you won't make it out of this one." that's when the screaming starts.
"Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go! Go, go, go, go! This way!" I yell.
"Gar, what the hell are you doing?" The chief asks. Shit. I run off to get suited up along with Oliver. When me and Oliver get back Garfield is about to kill the chief when Oliver defends him.
"Go!" he yells causing the chief to run.
"I'm not afraid to die."
"You're afraid to live." I say.
"Let us get you out of here. Lynns. Let us get you out." Oliver pleads.
"Thanks. But I'm already burned." Then Garfeild calls to the ground in fire while screaming.
Me, Oliver, and Dig stand in our base of operations. "Good thing the fire didn't spread to down here." Dig says.
"It's one of the benefits of concrete and steel construction." Oliver says as he exhales. "Thank you."
"What for?"
"You know what for!"
"So what's next? More training?"
"No. We go hunting." Oliver says and I smile slightly.
I stand with Dig when Ollie walks in.
"With all the guys working up top, you might want to think about a side entrance for your, uh, Arrowcave." Dig says."Something I want to show you." Oliver says.
"Finally getting into online dating and you need help with your profile."
"Not exactly. But there is somebody I'd like to meet."
"Yeah, I read about it. This is the third truck to be hit this month. I saw it on the news this morning."
"I couldn't figure out why it seemed so familiar. Then I remembered this. Kandahar, '09, when the Marines took out a Taliban transport vehicle."
"Yeah."
"Well, there's a reason why it looks so similar. These guys are running the same swarming technique."
"Where'd you find this?"
"I was researching someone. Bodyguard who works for a private security firm. Blackhawk squad protection group. His name is Ted Gaynor." Realization washes over Diggle's face.
"Oliver, Ted Gaynor was my commanding officer on my first tour in Afghanistan."
Dig...I'm sorry but--." Oliver starts.
"He's on the list." I finish.
"Gaynor's a few hundred thousand dollars short of making your list."
"Well, I never said it was just one-percenters, did I?"
"Oliver, this guy saved my life. Received a commendation for it. I don't care what your book says. He's not a stick-up man."
"Diggle, you haven't know him for awhile. I say.
"We both kept in contact with each other since we got stateside. 6 months ago he even offered me a job at Blackhawk. Now, trust me, you don't know this man like I do."
"I know in Afghanistan his training specialty was M-32 multiple grenade launchers, the exact same weapon used in these heists and not exactly something that you find at your local sporting goods store." Oliver says.
"Two months ago, we found out this wasn't even your father's book, that it was written by whoever hired the other archer. Doesn't that kind of beg the question what else you could be wrong about?"
"Maybe we're wrong, but, the list isn't." I say.
"Now, I'm gonna have a pointed conversation with Mr. Gaynor tonight. We'll see what he has to say about it. I understand if you want to take the week off." Oliver says.
"Well, thank you. Sir."

While running me and Ollie are confronted by a man. He aims his gun at us. I kick the gun away and I lunge at him. I grab a knife that was attached to his belt and I stab him in the chest. I grab the gun and look at Ollie. "Run!" we run only to be confronted with two more men. I shoot one and the other one tackles me. "Go! I'll catch up!" I order. Oliver hesitates but soon runs off. I remember the knife and stab the man in the stomach he groans in pain and falls to the side, holding his wound. I get up and I'm top of him. I raise the knife and i enter the knife into his heart. I pull the knife out and run. While running I slip on a rock and tumble down a hill. I grab a nearby tree root to stop me from falling into the rocks bellow. I do my best to pull myself up and i grab a rock in the process. I almost fall but I feel a hand grab me. I look up to see a man as he pulls me up. "Thanks.""Who taught you how to fight like that?"
"What?"
"Answer the question!"
"Shado!" the man's expression softens.
"Follow me." he grabs my hand and drags me away.
