The Carters: Oneshots

*4 weeks earlier*

Beyonce hunched over the toilet, throwing up. She sighed and flushed the toilet and stood in front of the sink; looking at herself through the mirror. She didn't understand why she was feeling this way. But then a thought popped up in her head: she might be pregnant. Her and Shawn had unprotected sex a lot over the past few months. They have been trying for a baby but have been unsuccessful. Could she finally be with child?

"Baby are you alright," Shawn asked, while waiting on the other side of the door.

Beyonce held the pregnancy test in her hand, "Yeah babe, just using the bathroom..."

She took the test and sat it on the counter, waiting for an answer.

*5 minutes later*

Beyonce took a deep breath and looked down.

Positive, it read.

She gasped and started crying tears of joy. She couldn't believe it  her and Shawn are finally becoming parents. She couldn't wait to tell him.

Meanwhile, Shawn was downstairs watching sports. Although he was watching sports, his mind drifted off to his wife. Was she okay? Is she sick? So many thoughts ran through her head. Just as he was getting up to check on her, she came downstairs holding the test in her hand. She put her hands behind her back and stood in front of him.

"You've been crying... what's wrong Beyoncé?"

Beyonce smiled through her tears and showed the pregnancy test, "We're having a baby!"

His eyes grew big and he smiled. Shawn picked her up and kissed her, while spinning her around.

*A week later*

"Hi are you ready to check on your bundle of joy," asked the doctor.

They nodded and watched as the doctor started the ultrasound. Using the wand, she rubbed it across Beyonce's belly and searched for the baby.

"There she is," said the doctor.

Both Shawn and Beyonce turned their heads towards the doctor.

"She," they both asked, in shock.

The doctor nodded and smiled, "You're already five months pregnant with a beautiful baby girl..."

They smiled big,"Can we hear her heartbeat?"

The doctor pressed a few buttons and the sound started to play throughout the room. It was the most beautiful sound Shawn and Beyonce have ever heard. Tears filled their eyes as they sat there, looking at the screen and listening to the heartbeat.

"Congratulations," said the doctor, and walked out the room.

"I have the perfect name for her," said Shawn, while watching the screen and listening to the heartbeat.

Beyonce looked at him, "And what's the name?"

He smiled to himself, "Blue Ivy Carter.."

She thought for a moment and smiled bjg, while holding his hand and looking at the screen. Blue's heartbeat was still playing in the room.

"Blue Ivy Carter.. that's perfect..."
