Karma X Reader X Asano: Just A Game

You had to show both the Asano's that you were capable of winning. You were strong, and talented. As you got up to home plate, you noticed Sugino was pitching. I'll show him.

"STRIKE!" You heard the umpire call from behind you.

WHAT? He threw a curve ball, you HATE curve balls. The odds of him throwing a curve ball next is about 25% the other 75% is he'll throw a fast ball.

Your bat made contact with the ball and was flying to left field. Where... he was, Karma Akabane. He had been your crush since 7th grade. You made it to home plate by the time he scooped up the ball. If you went any further, he would have thrown it to second and got you out. You stood there, one foot on the bag other in the dirt. He gave you a smirk and threw the ball to Sugino. Dreamy? No, more like scary. Next batter, the ball went behind the catcher so you decided to steal second base.

"1 out and runner on second!" You heard one of the boys inform the others. Next batter struck out, Great

I'll steal third and hopefully the batter after this one will hit a ball. You thought as the ball rolled behind home plate again. This catcher sucks. You dashed to 3rd and then stopped.
He better hit this next ball, the thought echoed through your head as you watched the batter strike out.

"3 outs!" The umpire yelled.

"Ugh!" You groaned, throwing your helmet to the side. Akabane was first batter next round, great. But lucky for you, they got no hits that inning. The only thing that didn't go right was Karma's trash talk. He was right, we aren't playing fair.

Inning two, your team scored 2 runs. You just one point behind them. Your pitcher was throwing fast balls like no ones business. Everyone was acting like a zombie...

Inning 3.... was different. Your team started bunting, but halfway through E-class tightened their defense. like... TWO OF THE OUT FIELDERS WERE STANDING RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE BATTER. What the hell! They were using the advantages your team had against you. They were playing just as dirty.

          "STRIKE!"

             "Swing like you're trying to kill us." You could hear karma say as Sugino threw a fast ball.

           He missed the swing. It bounced back as Karma caught it and yelled out "Heads up Nagisa!" As the ball was passed from Karma, to home, to third, then 1rst. Winning three outs. Then the game was over.
   
           We lost..... I broke my promise.
You stood there wide in shock.

          You noticed Asano in the bleachers looking at you. He was not happy. Then you could feel something, someone touch your shoulder. It was Karma... you turned around to face him.

         "You know for a girl you play pretty well, best on the team in my opinion." He complimented you.... a blush creeped up on your face as you jerked your head to the side.

         "Easy for you to say, you won." You hissed looking to the side at
E-Class.

         "Maybe we won, but it's just one game." He began walking away. "You should really put some more team work into your play." And with that, the watermelon joined the rest of his class.

          "Asano!" You yelled trying to catch up with him after class. "I'm s-sorry." The strawberry blonde turned around to face you. His eyes sharp.

          "That was a waste of time." He said straight to your face.

          "I'm sorry! I promise I tried!" You tried to compromise with him.

          "What did you say to Akabane?" He turned back around, continuing to walk down the sidewalk.

          "He just complimented me, that's all." You followed him.

           "Why do I find that hard to believe, Akabane never compliments anyone." Asano's aura became darker.

          "I know! Maybe he li-" you were cut off.

         "Maybe he's playing you." Asano stopped walking.

          He's right, Karma is a play boy.

          "I know," your voice had gotten weaker.

         "Stay clear of him for now, besides I think that game was rigged." And with that, the strawberry blonde turned the corner and you lost sight of him.

             Karma... Karma Akabane.

HELLO MY CHILDREN!!! Okay umm nobody reads this fanfic so I guess I'm just talking to myself xD. Anyways, I'm going to start re-reading parts because I've noticed tons of errors in the 1st one so I don't want to embarrass myself anymore xD.
