"Hey... Astral, wake up..." Astral could hear this voice, though it was so unclear, "Astral!" Whined the girl, "Waaaake up!"

Astral's eyes opened and he looked around. It appears to be he was outside, in the shade. He looked at the girl with (e/c) eyes and a very kind smile. She tilted her head as she held the book. Her smile grew as Astral looked as confused as ever. He sat up and ran fingers through his own hair. Astral looked around the scenery, they were in Heartland City. But something seemed off, he didn't feel like himself. Wait, it finally snapped back into his mind. Where is Yuma?

The male looked at his own hands, he wasn't blue. This was all messed up, was he in a dream? Or was his whole life just one messed up dream? He looked back over to the girl. She digging through her own bag. She grabbed a snack and she began to eat it. She saw Astral staring. The female offered some to Astral.

"No thank you." He spoke.

"Aw okay. Anyways, we should continue reading. You fell asleep during the book, you know the next chapter is due tomorrow. And it's my turn to read to you. I'm not going to waste my voice." She sang at the last second.

"I'm terribly sorry, please continue. But may I have a quick look at the book?" Astral asked as he held out his hand.

(y/n) placed the bookmark in the book and handed it go him. He opened up the book to see the inside of the cover. He looked at all for the penciled in names from over the years. He then came across the most recent year. (y/n) (l/n) was her name. He studied the pages as he turned through the book. The book was entirely in English, it was for English class most likely then.

He handed the book back to (y/n). He laid back down and got comfortable. (y/n) too out the bookmark and began to read once more. Astral interrupted a lot during her reading. He had so many questions that (y/n) couldn't answer. This her first time reading this English book. So how would she know what would happen next. The plot and the story became very intriguing to his mind. So of course he asked too many questions.

After all of the reading, they decided to walk home. But before that, (y/n) just wanted to browse around Heartland for a while. (y/n) held Astral's hand throughout the whole walk. She was blabbering on and on about her life. How she went to the mall or how she vegged all day. Astral doesn't even know this female, but he felt so interested in her already. (y/n) was different from Kotori, Cathy, and Rio. She wasn't anything like them, she was the 'odd one out'. (y/n) knew that already, so she let it shined.

"(y/n) I-" Astral was cut off by screaming and explosions.

(y/n) screamed as rubble fell. She ran off into a safer spot. What was all of this? People in such strange outfits arriving and... people are disappearing in mid air. Astral can see all of the chaos. Death and sorrow was in the air. Who were these people with such strange duel disks?

(y/n) clung onto him as Astral looked up at the murky sky. (y/n) cried, "Astral before our city becomes trash, I want you to know that I love you! Now please wake up! Wake up!"

"What?" Astral spoke but then he was kissed by (y/n).

She pulled away as he almost began to drift away, "Astral wake-"

"Up!" Yuma spoke as he was poking his friend's face.

Astral gasped and looked at himself, he was back to blue. Yuma smiled at him but then it faded, "What's wrong?" He asked.

"They're... in danger..."
