The Future King Has Returned

Mother start laughing out loud. I looked confused. Was there something I said?

"Oh Sadiku! You must have forgotten what I've taught you. Don't your remember what we do to unexpected visitors?" She reminded.

I gasp. "No, I won't let you hurt them!"

Mother growls, "It is not a choice Sadiku and I'm the matriarch here! Now stand aside so we can quickly get this over with. It'll teach their parents to be more watchful if their children."

I snarl swiping my claw at her. "No!"

Mother stunned, stepped a few steps back from me. She knew she would be no march against me if we were to fight one on one. I could instantly kill her. But I wouldn't. She raised me and practically gave me another chance at life.

I owe her...

"What would be your choice Sadiku? Give me the cubs or your exile??" Mother asks.

Exile?

"Your going to exile me if I don't? Wow..." I frowned. "Just so you could have everything your way huh? You know what, I rather take the exile. I don't want to be here anyways. Find another lion to become your King. Im out!"

With that I turned my back on her.

"Sadiku in warning you. Once you leave there's no coming back. You're going to become an enemy just like the Pride Landers. We won't accept you."

"I don't care. I'm not even your son."

I put the two cubs on my back and start walking towards the end of the Out-Lands.

Mother snarls angrily, "Fine. But before you go, let me give you a goodbye gift. GET THEM!"

I look over my right shoulder and see a large group of hyenas running straight towards me.

She wants me dead?

"Hold on tight boys, this is going to be a rough ride!" I say, while running quick out of the Out-Lands.

The cubs whine with fear as they grabbed tight onto my mane. I've got to lose these hyenas. It's too many to fight alone.

Oh what to do?

I see the Pride Lands close ahead.

That's it! They wouldn't dare enter.

I smile jumping right into the Pride Lands territory. The hyenas stopped running on the other side of the borders and stood watching me with disappointment.

"You're very well lucky Sadiku. We'll just tell her we killed you and you promise to never return. Got it?" Bamba asks.

I nod without a word and turn around entering inside the Pride Lands. The hyenas left going back to their home.

I walk through the tall grasses then stopped letting the cubs off my back.

"Okay you two, I'm sure this is where you've come from. Correct?"
