Learn basic violin, by a learner of the violin.
This will cover G to A, vibrato, pizzacardo, col legno, how to read music and how to use the bow.
Make sure to get a violin first!
Holding your violin. So let's start! A simple sponge and a rubber band will be needed for this. So once you got these materials here are the steps.
Step 1: Put the sponge under the violin at the side where the chin rest. (It normally looks like a black part that fills up most of one of the corners.) Step 2: Put the band at the top of the chin rest, and just fit it around. Step 3: Get the band and stretch it to fit onto here:

Step 4: You're done!
So this is the shoulder rest. This will help you hold the violin up high.
Putting this on your shoulder. So put your chin on the chin rest, and put it on your shoulder. So, put your fingers, (Not your thumb yet.) onto the neck. I think you can find the neck easily, (Clue: It's the part that looks like a neck.) Then put your thumb on the other side (Make sure it's not too close to the neck.) Now just put your fingers into the board. Make sure it's not too slanted, make it a semi-rainbow like shape. Now move your wrist up, so it isn't touching the violin.
