"She's fine, but her memories are coming back." Braylinn said popping a tablet into her mouth, "swallow." Was all he said as he started looking back at me.

"I need to check her and the boy tomorrow." He continued. He looked at his watch, probably annoyed at the fact he was giving so much and getting nothing in return. "School is starting in twenty minutes." He told us both.

"Ryder can stay here right." She asked me, I had feeling something had happened and worried was an understatement. She had explained the dream even to the point where she had thought she saw him. A three year old going through all the pain; it was a worse feeling, worse then having your wings thrashed apart.

I took me back to my house, "You don't have to go if you don't want too."I told her.

"I want to, I'll be back in a sec." She said taking a stack of clothes.

I smiled taking her bag as she walked into her bedroom. I grasped my hand checking the time. We had ten minutes let and I felt her body near mine, her hand grasping mine and her strap.

"Chica." Ross smiled hugging her, clearly missing her. "You missed the dinner yesterday." He said sadly.

"Yeah sorry about that, I was out with a friend." She told him.

"You have friends." Justin shouted out.

"Yes Justin unlike you." She retorted out.

"Missed you." He smiled out, hugging him as well.

"What is this a re-re-reunion?" We all heard Ryan shout, I already knew he was drunk his stench lingered around the corridor.

His arms draped over Veronica's and I's shoulders. Yep! A distinctive smell of alcohol went around his body. "Oh look at the time, come on guys." Veronica shuddered out. Grasping my hand we both walked to one of the lessons where we were alone. Maths.

We walked in, sitting next to each other, I ignored the glares, talking about the teacher would be late. Even telling her about my friend Micah. He was like my little brother.

"Where is he now?" She asked.

"Out and about I guess, he stopped doing stuff like that after I fell." I shrugged out not wanting to say anything else about him.

"I'd love to meet him." She said to me.

"Soon." I said looking back to the door.

"Sorry for being late class, can we stop the chatter." I heard from a familiar man. Before finally recognising who it was. My jaw clenched before finally shouting; "What are you doing here?"

"Mr..." He trailed off looking at me. "Finally, come outside." He gestured to me.

"Tyler who is he?" She said grasping my wrist as I stood up. "Come with me," I gestured wanting no secrets, I ignored the class following him.

We both walked out as the teacher looked at the both of us. "What are you doing here?" I slammed the guy onto the lockers. I heard Veronica speak but I ignored seeing the red flame appear knocking me back, why'd he have to ruin everything. He had to come. His eye's and hair turning a red. I stayed on the ground listening to their conversation.

"What are you?" She questioned.

"What else my dear! The devil of course." He said sadictically.

"The devil." She looked worried, her eyes showing a bit of sadness.

"Yes, Satan. What'd you expect a red horned figure with a tail. No instead a very very handsome man is standing in front of you." His ego clearly hasn't changed since last time I met him.

"Stay away from her." I warned going standing up and coming in front of hr.

"You angels are fond of these mortals. Sadly she isn't one." He pointed out.

"Uh what!" She said moving to the side allowing a full view of him for the both of us.

"You. Are. Not. Mortal. I can spell it out for you, y o." He paused as she interrupted.

"What am I then?"

"A magnificent creation that has been able to sustain angel blood. You are unknown to us all. You're special and soon great and mighty powers will come to you and then you'll destroy them all." He gave out dramatically. Why'd he have to tell her?

"Ask your boyfriend?" He crossed his arms against the lockers.

"Did you seriously know and not tell me again. Even though I asked." She shouted out.

"I found out this morning." I lied

"Lies." He chimed in.

"Ok, I found out, but I was bound not to tell anyone by him. My mouth would have been stitched together, so I wouldn't have been able to tell you anyway." I really did have a personal hatred to the devil.

"Well now that we have this sorted, I have a fiery hot pot or better known as home to run. Will I see any of you their?" He smiled out.

"Just go." I said annoyed.

"And they say I'm rude." He said before he plummeted to the ground in a fiery flame.

"When did Satan get so dramatic?" She said knitting both my eyebrows together.

I shrugged. "I'm going to go talk to Michael, you get back to class and I'll see you at lunch." I left without allowing her to say anything.

I saw Michael walking with Jophiel around a park, he did have some kind of fondness towards her. "Tyler, you should be with Veronica" Michael noticed.

"And the devil should be in hell, didn't stop him from coming to school did it." I shouted out getting some glares from passers-by.

"He came then." Michael said.

"He did." I told them.

"Get Veronica it's better if we told you both," He told me. "Also bring the boy, we need to have a little talk." Jophiel said as well.

I went to my apartment seeing Ryder look frightened as we arrived. "Come with me." I practically ordered.

"What does Veronica even see in you?" He mumbled out which I obviously heard.

I pushed him onto the wall, hearing a loud thud as he had had a mighty push; "You say anything about Veronica and I; I will send you to the pits of he'll where all you'll hear screaming until your ears bleed." I shouted out letting him go.

"You do anything; Veronica will be the shouting at you and not me. She'll take her life to get anybody else's life out of danger." He informed me.

"One more word out of you and I don't care if Veronica hates me for the rest of her life. I'll snap your neck and feed you to the vampires." That finally shut him up as I grabbed his sleeved forcefully; pinching him as I did.

I dropped him off to Michael before going back to Veronica.

Seeing Veronica drop everything as she saw me; saying her goodbyes to Ross as he took her food.

Now to get answers for the both of us.
