Y/N P.O.V.

As my mom talks to Chiron inside the big house, I sit out on the porch. When mom calls me inside, I see a centaur. "Hello, Y/N. Welcome to Camp. Did you get here all right?" He inquiries. I nod. My mom hugs me goodbye and leaves. "Y/N, your father, as your mother has informed me, is Apollo." I nod. Chiron then hands me over to a boy named Will. He takes me on a tour of Camp. 

"You've been really quiet. Why?" Will asks. I look down, ashamed. I point to my throat and shake my head. "You're mute?" he asks. I nod. "I know sign language. And don't worry. As long as you're near me, I won't let anyone hurt you." I grinned. 'Do you think I'll make friends, Will?' I signed. "Definitely. In fact, you're going to meet my friends tonight." With that, Will dragged me off to the dining pavilion. 

"Hey, guys! This is Y/ N. Y/N, that's Percy, Annabeth, Jason, Piper, Frank, Hazel, Leo, and my boyfriend Nico," Will said, blushing at the last part. 'You're gay?' I mouthed. Will blushed harder and nodded. I hugged him which surprised him greatly. I noticed everyone was staring at us. I turned pink and sat down. Sitting across from me was Leo Valdez. Everyone started talking about things that had been happening in camp and capture the flag. Leo looked at me. "Y/N, who do you think your godly parent is?" he asked. I froze. No one else here but Will and Chiron knew I was mute. 'It's Apollo.' I signed. Leo looked confused. I turned so red, I bet the Ares cabin would be jealous.

 "Y/N is mute," said Will. Everyone stared at me. I put my head in my hands and started to cry. Silently, of course since I can't make a sound. I felt something warm engulf me. I open my eyes to see that they're all hugging me. "It's okay." "It doesn't matter." "You're still our friend." were among the many words that were spoken.

Weeks have passed and most the seven and a few others have learned sign language for my sake. While I was reading under a tree, Will and Nico came up to me. "Hey, Y/N. Do you want to play truth or dare with us and the seven?" asked Will. I nodded reluctantly. They led me to the Poseidon cabin. We sat in a ring. After many turns, I was dared to kiss my crush. To my relief, everyone closed their eyes. I went over and kissed Leo. He opened his eyes and kissed back. 

We became boyfriend and girlfriend on the spot.
