Aurora stormed into the living room where Emmett, Jasper , and Carlisle were surrounding Juliet who was on the piano. She was humming a song while playing, but immediately stopped when she saw her mum.
"Mum what's wrong?" Juliet asks, rubbing her mother's arm . "Chase, he's missing. His parents were giving everyone flyers near the hospital. What if he's dead?" "He's probably out with his friends Dawn , like normal guys." Emmett says, persuading Aurora that he was fine . They didn't have time to be worried about another human , they wanted to focus on Victoria.
"Alice saw that Victoria will be passing by , we need to be ready. Edward is taking Bella to Arizona, " Carlisle explains to them as they formed a circle , Esme, Alice , and Rosalie join in listening to the plan.
*** Aurora was on top of a tree branch , looking at the stars that sparkled in the night. She felt a small breeze , making her hair move . She quickly looks at her left and saw Edward .
"What are you thinking about?" "How it would've felt to be married and having more children with my husband , growing old and having grandchildren. I can't experience that. " Aurora explained with her eyes shut.
"I will always love you Aurora, you were my first love , my first everything , and I'm sorry that we didn't have time for us to be together longer. If I knew that was our last day together before I got sick , I would've treasured it . As selfish as it sounds, I want you all to myself even when I'm with Be-" Edward was cut off by Aurora's lips meeting his , although their skins were cold to other people , their lips felt warm once meeting each other's . Their kiss was slow , they wanted to treasure the moment . After five minutes they pulled away , "I love you so much." They whispered .
*in the forest*
Alice glazes over the entire forest, watching something in her mind. The woods were filled mist and shadows. Emmett, Jasper , Juliet , Aurora , Carlisle, Esme and Rosalie were spread out , still as statues , waiting for Alice .
"Are you sure you saw her here?" Juliet asked while looking around .
"She's almost here."
Aurora heard boots hitting the rainy wet mud, but they falter, slowing to a stop. Aurora spins to Emmett and yells "ON YOUR LEFT!"
Emmett explodes to his left, Rosalie right behind him. Jasper and Carlisle go wide, looking to cut Victoria off, Esme and Alice following the rear while Juliet and Aurora jump from tree to tree to see exactly where she's going .
Victoria still racing through the trees, Aurora sensed she was tense but she wasn't afraid . Escaping is what she's good at. Victoria reaches a ravine , she doesn't break stride , just leaps over it . Carlisle pulls up short , yells to Rosalie and Emmett. Aurora and Juliet jump off the trees , to join the fun.
"Wait. she's in their territory." "She'll get away !" Juliet yells while running as fast as she can. "No she won't!" Jasper growls .
Juliet grazed at the other side of the ravine and saw three wolves , who she learned were Paul, Sam and another wolf she has never seen before leap onto the scene and take up the chase after Victoria .
A parallel chase ensues , the wolves and the Cullen's keeping to their sides of the ravine, which Aurora and Juliet realized is what demarcates the territories . Victoria leaps back over.
"All ours now."
They close in on Victoria , Juliet who was the closest grabs ahold of her hair and shoulder . They roll over , Victoria uses this as an advantage and flings Juliet off and over to a tree. Victoria quickly looks at Juliet and saw she was down , she leaps to wolf-land and keeps running.
"JULIET DON'T!" Esme yells but Juliet saw Victoria leap over the ravine , Juliet following but she was met with Paul's wolf form. The wolf growls with bravado but stops quickly, looking at Juliet with loving eyes but stops and starts running after Victoria , leaving Juliet confused, heartbroken and wet.
Juliet sped through the ravine of the Wolves , Aurora yelled after her but Rosalie touched her shoulder which is saying 'let her go, she'll come back' , Aurora nods and speeds home .
Juliet found a small house , it smelt like mint , it smelt like Paul. Which unusual, wolves smell horrid. She knocked on the door , waiting patiently for the door to open . The door opens and she saw a beautiful tan woman with scars on her face but she didn't pay attention to them. "Hello Miss, um is there a possibility of me waiting for Paul?" She shyly asks , hoping she will say yes so she wouldn't look stupid for crossing the ravine without permission and getting her family in more trouble .
