Weekend comes; Hana and the twins ask to meet up with Sungjae and Sooyoung. They don't think any of it as something. They meet during the weekends too anyways. They meet at a café near the office building.
"I wonder why they asked to meet us so suddenly." Sooyoung grabs her iced coffee.
Sungjae shrugs. "Maybe they're just bored out of their minds. Our training is nearly finished, maybe that's why."
Hana comes before the twins. But she refuses to say anything to the couple until they're complete. Fortunately, the twins arrive after a couple of minutes.
"Why did you ask to meet us? I something wrong?" Sungjae asks after the brothers pick up their beverages.
The three takes a glance at each other. "Well, as you may know, our training is almost coming to an end and for the rest of the school year; we'll be doing nothing but wait for our graduation ceremony."
"We were contacted by our parents to come back to Japan until then." Youngmin states in a serious voice.
"What?" Sungjae's smile disappears.
Kwangmin tries to explain. "You should understand, as the next in line, we would inherit the company and manage it. We will be training as young as we are. I'm sure you understand, don't you?"
Sungjae doesn't say anything while Sooyoung moves her eyes towards Hana. "How about you? Are you going to Japan too?"
"Well, yeah. My parents' office is in Japan so I'll be leaving with them." Hana points at the twins.
"Aigoo, you should've said something sooner!" Sooyoung exasperates.
"What?' the three say at the same time.
"Looks like you were afraid to tell us." Sungjae points out.
Kwangmin's gaze flicker between the two. "SO, you're okay with us going away?"
Sooyoung nods. "Of course! Your parents only want what's best for you. Who are we to deny them that?"
"We only wish you told us sooner so that we could've spent more time together." The girl nods at Sungjae's statement.
"Sorry!" the three lower their heads.
Sooyoung jumps. "Ah, I know! After the last day of our internship, let's go to the amusement park. Change your flights if it's that day because I'm not taking NO for an answer." She crosses her arms.
Sungjae and Sooyoung spend the day as much as they can with their friends. With their departure looming over them, a shrivel of sadness hovers over the happy moments that they continue to make.
"I guess that's why they gave me that portrait on my birthday." Sungjae says as he was arranging his futon.
Sooyoung stays quiet waiting for him to continue but he didn't say anything else. "What if our parents also ask us to go somewhere far away from each other oppa?" she sits on the bed.
"YA!" Sungjae stands up and flicks Sooyoung's forehead. "Don't even think about that! Besides, they forced us to marry each other then they separate us? That's some kind of joke!"
