Vassago's POV
"Alright. Let me in, or I kill her and you." I hissed, glaring at the angel with disdain. "Like I really care. Come in, be our guest." He said jokingly, opening the door open and allowing the girl and I in. I shoved her forwards, and she tripped, sticking out her bound hands to break her fall. A sickening crack echoed through the room, and I could tell she was fighting back tears and screams of pain.
"So, I want the truth. If any of you lie, and I can tell, I'll kill one of you. Each time. Now, sit on the couch before I break your neck." I snapped. The girl and the angel shrugged and sat down, the demon already seated and looking disinterested. I stood in front of them, my nails as long and sharp as they could possibly go without ripping free of my skin. "Now. How is he alive?" I gestured to the angel, my nails catching the light and flashing off of it menacingly.
"Simple. Jayy made a deal." The girl said with a disbelieving glance. It was almost as if none of them took me seriously. "Alright, two. Why is Lucifer missing?" The lot of them shrugged. "No clue. Didn't even know he was gone. Haven't heard of him since we left Hell." The girl said. She shifted uncomfortably, and I could tell by the way her eyes shifted colour to a more grape colour than the paler purple that she was lying. "Up. Now." I barked, flicking my wrist from her to the wall. She flew through the air and connected, stuck by the power I was using. Being a demon had its perks.
"I know you're lying. Now you'll have to pay." I stalked closer to her as she started struggling more and more to free herself. It wouldn't work, and we all knew it. I pressed my nails through her skin above her heart. My fingers pushed through, between her ribs, until I felt her rapidly beating heart in my grip. I freed it from her chest, still beating, and waved my hand over it. It stopped and turned grey before crumbling to dust.
"Now you know I'm serious. We'll continue this later." I said in a growl as she slid to the ground with a thud. The angel was staring at her body as if it wasn't real and he was dreaming. I flicked my wrist in the general direction of her and she turned to ash as her heart had. The demon's eyes were red, his teeth needles. I laughed. "You two will stay there, silent, until I'm ready to keep asking." I gave them a pointed look, and the angel looked like he was petrified.
He clawed at hsi throat, trying to speak but no sound coming out. The demon tried to stand but was yanked back down by an invisible force. "Uh uh uh. Not until I say so." I turned on my heel and walked out, going to report this to the one in charge; Chris Cerulli.
