CHAPTER 33

Ok, so this may be a real shitty chapter. I'm just writing it up quickly before I go on vacation tomorrow. And then I won't update for a while. But whiles I'm away, may you PLEASE leave your ideas for any new fan fictions I could write when I get back? And tell me what you want to happen in the next couple chapters? It would be a great help.

~ At the hospital ~

( Double D p.o.v )

Today was the day that I was finally coming home from the hospital. After many weeks of treatment and even brain surgery I was very relieved that I can return to the comforts of my own household. The nurses said that I can return home, but I must stay home from school for a week or two, depending on how I'm feeling. I also must be monitored closely and if I experience any worsening headaches then I must come back to the hospital.

But since my parents will not be at home anytime soon, Eddy offered to stay home and take care of me for the whole entire week. But I told him that he couldn't just 'skip' school for a week. So he is going to take care of me before and after school. That's really sweet of him~. He's a really caring person, I only wish I realized it sooner than I did.

Eddy is not here, he said he would bring back some clean clothes for me to change into and also my hat. He is also calling a taxi to take us home since he can't borrow his fathers car, even if he now has a drivers license.

The nurse was unhooking me from all of the machines, I can't wait to finally get to stretch my legs and eat a proper meal instead of the horrendous slop they call cuisine.

The nurse also gave me back the clothes that I came to hospital in, they were folded neatly into a pile, she set them down and left the room. Just as she left Eddy walked in carrying a bag in his hands. He sat down in the chair next to me and planted a kiss on my cheek.

" Hey baby cakes."

Edd covered his mouth and giggled, this was usually his reaction whenever Eddy used these cute nicknames on him.

" Hi Eddy"

" so, are you ready to get outta this place?" He said already knowing the answer.

" am I ever!" He said full of excitement. " did you bring the clothes?"

" yep, right here" he said putting the bag he was carrying up and onto the bed.

" great! Thank you."

" no problem" said Eddy kissing Edd on the lips.

( Le time skip )

Edd was now fully dressed, he wore the same old black skinny jeans, a nerdy sweater and his signature black beanie with white stripes along the sides. Eddy was holding onto him tight just to make sure that he wouldn't fall down or anything. The doctor had said that he may experience light headedness and slight dizziness and may fall down easily if he's not too careful. The doctor was correct since he did stumble down the side walk a couple times, but he did not fall because Eddy was there to catch him each time.
