Q: Do you believe that there is a big gender gap and discrimination against women in the western world?
A: There might be some sort of discrimination in some professions that are usually overpowered by men and there is definitely a lot of verbal or even physical abuse against women as well as sexual harassment in many occasions, but I also think that during the last years, most countries have made incredible improvements on their treatment against such discriminations and their punishments so I don't think it is as bad as it used to be.
Q: What do you think of the so called 'third wave of feminism'?
A: I think it's a waste of time. Most third wave feminism movements are founded and ruled by men. Most of them include women who are members mainly out of some sort of 'social justice frustration' against bad relationships with men or a need to scream loud at the world because they don't get what they wish for.
Third wave feminism has proved in many ways that it doesn't really care about women's genuine rights and progress but more about their little 'show' of solidarity which is usually staged and one sided. When they attack religious women for being religious, they don't show any respect for women or their rights. They're being hypocritical. When they stay silent on victims of terrorism and rape attacks committed by immigrants, they don't show any respect or support for women. When women go right at their face and tell them their opposite views with reasoning and honesty, they lash out and even go as far as to call them names and label them without even listening.
When they go around naked, they don't show any actual respect for women, they just make a provocative show meant to raise money for their bosses and cause episodes. When they go around and wrongly accuse men of raping them just to earn money from society, they don't show any respect for women, they bring shame to our gender and make all women look ridiculous and disgusting. Such women do absolutely nothing for the progress of women and they definitely have nothing to do with the original movement of feminism as it begun during the previous century and it actually served the promotion of women's rights. I would never be part of third wave feminism and as a woman I don't think it represents or promotes my gender's rights and qualities. I'm pretty sure there are some modern feminists who are not like that but the majority of them or at least those who are promoted, definitely seem to be so.
Q: What do you think of the whole issue with the gender roles and people's sexual identity?
A: I think that each social group believes that it can change basic biological rules according to what they consider to be the 'truth', or more like the truth that is convenient for them. Lots of people are confusing the term 'gender' with the term 'sexual identification'. Those are two completely different things and I'm surprised that so many people, people who have gone to school and have actually no proven brain problems, are confusing such basic and simple things. When we talk about one's gender we talk about the way they are born and people are naturally born only in two ways...as a male and as a female, with only a few rare exceptions where there might be issues with one's chromosomes. People are not born gender 'fluid', there is no such thing anyway. People are born as either males or females and that is the most simple truth that has been known since ancient times. What one will identify themselves as, based on their sexuality, is something that they will choose once they grow up and are mature and self-conscious enough to know what they want from their lives.
Being homosexual, straight, transsexual or asexual has nothing to do with your physical gender. You are a male or a female, regardless of what you want to be or what you wish you were. You can wish to be whatever you want and you might be homosexual, straight, transsexual or asexual but those things don't change your physical gender. Nature is clear about it. Messing with the way nature works is abuse of our nature and abuse of the natural balance and such a thing can never possibly end well. I think it's downright ridiculous to allow little kids to change their gender and I think it's an abuse of a child's nature and mind. Children are in no way mature or self-conscious enough to know what they want from their lives and kids go through various phases from the moment they start walking till the moment they become adults...you can't allow a child to change its gender just because it 'feels' like it wants to be a boy or girl. It's a child. It should make such decisions once it grows up enough to be able to think maturely, not given such power when it doesn't even fully understand the implications of what such a surgery will do to it.
