The lights went off. (y/n) jumped from the random power outage. Though they made a sound. (y/n) picked up her phone and turned the flashlight one. She looked around the room as thunder crackled outside. Shun wasn't freaking out yet. He just looked around the kitchen. He sipped from coffee. Shun kind of enjoyed this, but he wanted to know if (y/n) was okay. But he already knew, a bright light was shining. He looked away, as (y/n) approached him. She placed the phone down and sat next to him. They held hands, Shun's hands were warm from the coffee.

Summer was coming to an end. Now fall is around the corner. It's just that this storm was so crazy. It's not even winter yet and the power went out. Isn't summer supposed to have crazy storms? But why in the late summer? It's all strange but neither of them control the weather patterns. Anyways, (y/n) held her lover's hand. She didn't want to let go, the thunder was a tad frightening. As the rain fell harder, Shun gripped tighter on her hand. (y/n) shivered as she saw lightning come crashing down. Though the noise made her squeal. Shun kissed his hand. He then got up and placed his cup into the sink.

He made his way over to (y/n). Shun took her hand and lead her to the living room. (y/n) turned the flashlight off of her phone. Shun places her on the couch so she could relax. He took a blanket and wrapped himself and her up. Shun laid a kiss on his lover's head. (y/n) cuddled with him. She wanted to steal all of his warmth because she felt very cold. Shun ran his fingers through her hair.

All of (y/n)'s worries soon began to wash away. The lightning didn't scare her anymore. She knew that Shun would keep her safe. Even though it's dark, it doesn't mean she has to be scared. Shun kissed her forehead and then her cheek. (y/n) let out a small giggle.

"You feel better?" Shun whispered.

(y/n) nodded, "Yes, Shun."
