From a high distance from earth,
I could've seen the whole world,
A smile took a place on my face,
Illuminated it like a moonbeam,
I smiled because I saw you,
From apart, smiling geniuly,
Far away from the smile you smiled
When we were together,
You faked it as usual,
Because I know that when you smile truly
Your dimples are shown and shone,"Is something bothering you ?"
This was a question I asked
Because I really didn't know,
Or better say,
My heart blinded my mind
Not letting me see the truth,Happiness ?
Yes, that's what I was seeking for
With you, For us,
But truth to be told,
You never loved me,
You wanted me somehow,
But it wasn't love
It was just a question of time
For you to realize it
And much more time for me to do as well,
We longed for each other,
Even tough,
We talked every hour,
We enjoyed each other's company,
We did love each other,
Only as a bestfriends,
Mixed feelings have got us this time,
You thought it was love,
Because of my confession,
I was sure I loved you,
You got mixed feelings between strong friendship and real love
And as they say
Friendship can move forward to be love
But love can rarely go backward as friendship
And we were no exception
I knew you weren't happy
I let go of you
You walked away;
Saying that being friend will hurt me even more,
Not knowing that your happiness is mine as well,
I got mad, sorrowful and death inside
But then I saw smiling
Not faking it like the past months,
It was then when I realised
That love isn't about holding on,
But sometimes letting go reflects the true meaning of love,
Still, I will forever be thankful
For letting us be,
For giving me a chance,
To confess and tell the feelings i've hidden from far too long
The chance of saying I love you
And yell to the world that you are mineYou were mine
For a short period that was my eternity
My best moments in life
With my best person in worldBe Happy..
With Love
Ri.
