30 Day Writing Challenge

Day 20 —If you could go on only one more vacation in your lifetime, where would you go and why?

If I could go on only one more vacation in my lie, where would I go? That is a horrible question. 

Okay- little personal info: I am 13 and I have not fully lived, so if you told me right now "Hey, you only get to go one more place; hurry choose one!" That would be so cruel. I want to travel the world! I want to see India and help people in Africa, I want to visit Germany and see Europe. I want to visit all 50 states and walk on the beaches of Cancun. 

This challenge demands an answer though, and I feel it is cliche to say "Everywhere." So, I am forced to do something; to choose between 200 countries and billions of cities. I'd do something plain and simple, and a bit tricky.

If I only had one more vacation left, I'd want to go somewhere that has three things:

-History

-Beauty

-Peace

I don't want to say a specific place, because there are so many. I just want my last getaway to be that- a getaway. Something that I can turn off my cellphone and power down my laptop, I can grab my camera and walk on the beach and take pictures. Somewhere I can laugh with my family and forget my worries, somewhere my problems and concerns don't matter. Somewhere I can talk to God and feel His presence, somewhere that everything seems okay, somewhere I'll remember.
