Sienna's POV

"Why the smile, Sen?"

I look up from my phone. "What are you talking about Luca?"

"Something on your phone has you smiling," he replies.

"Nothing bro, just reading comments about tonight's show," I lie.

I look up and see Luca shrug. He seems to have bought it. What am I meant to say? Oh, nothing I'm just smiling like a dickhead because some chick I've never meet replied to my message.

"It was a great show. I'm not sure they understood a word we said but I love how much these international crowds love when we tour," Rafa says. Luca subconsciously nods along in agreement.

The concept of adding the twins to the group really shook us. Especially since we'd never heard them sing before. I mean they already had a fairly large fan base thanks to their YouTube videos but they were mostly comedy videos, with dares and challenges and the like, and a few which showcased their guitar skills but none that showed us their voices.

It was a good week, and many hours of Jax and I online stalking them, before we softened to the idea and agreed to a trial. Zander even made us hang out at their farm to bring us closer. It turned out to be one of the best weeks of my life. We skated, we swam, we ran and we jammed. I remember late on the second night we were all hanging out in the spa and Jax made up a song about the bubbles.

Making up songs about random things is kind of what got us started. Anyone hearing one our random songs for the first time would probably think we were mad. Usually, someone starts off with a beat and an opening line then each of us adds a line, and round it goes. It doesn't even need to make sense. But we'd all jam out. That's actually how we wrote our first single 'Army of Ants'.

So here we are in the spa singing about bubbles. When 3 lines in, the twins started harmonizing in the background and it just fit. Jax and I just looked at each other and smiled. I think it was at that point we knew the Diaz Twins, were perfect for Gate Thirty Four. Not that we told them that. We let them, and Zander, stew on it for a little longer.

It must have been about 6 months before I realized they were testing us out that week and much as we were testing them.

The first time we meet they came into the studio and Rafa had a cast on his right arm. Turns out Luca had dared him to jump off the roof into the pool and things didn't end well. Credit to him though he couldn't tell the story with a straight face. He seemed to think it was the funniest thing- he even showed us the video. He said it wasn't the first time he'd broken bones doing something stupid his brother told him to do and it wouldn't be the last. He was right, it was only a few weeks later that he broke his collarbone coming off his board on their homemade half pipe.

They're both as bad as each other. Always trying to better the other. They're fiercely loyal, and I like that. So does Jax. Beckett wasn't so easily convinced, he always thinks they're up to something because they're always together and they don't really have to speak to communicate they just seem to know what the other is thinking and they're always finishing each other's sentences, which is something they pretend they hate but secretly love.

Don't even get me started on rock, paper, scissors with them. It never ends, its almost like they're one person and no one ever wins.

I'm not entirely sure they've ever spent more than 24 hours apart.

They're sixteen and the youngest in the group by a few months, which is ironic because they look like the oldest. Something about their chiselled jaws and chins. They're pretty stacked too, but I guess that's because they're always moving. It's like they can't sit still. I've found them both working out at 3am after a full day on tour and a late night recording session. I could barely keep my eyes open but there they were trying to burn off their 'extra energy'.

They have the same hazel green eyes and dark hair, although Luca prefers to wear his a little longer. They even have the same laugh, and they're always laughing. There are some slight difference between them though. Rafa is a little bit quieter, slightly taller and slightly more tanned. I guess he got their Dad's Spanish genes. While Luca is a little more outgoing, has a freckle on his cheek and is less tanned, more like their mother. But if you didn't know them you'd really have to look closely to see the differences.

I'll admit I'm a little bit jealous of their relationship but I'm lucky I have Jax, as he says I'm his "brother from another mother."
