Gender and Sexuality are usually the first things you think about when creating an oc, but its important to choose wisely.
there isn't any way to really go wrong with picking these things, but there are some things i'll comment on or write about...
-If your oc is gay in any way, maybe write something about them coming out to friends and family in the backstory and how their reactions impacted their lives
-if you want your oc to be in a romantic relationship with either another oc or a character from a show, base the sexuality off the character's and find traits that'll work well.
