3rd person's P.O.V.

"Crap. You're bruised, (Y/N)" Your friend tells you. Her eyes are filled with water.

"Don't cry, (Y/F/N)" You hug her.

"I'm sorry. I just don't know what's wrong with him. It was just a battle..."

"Me neither... Don't worry, I'm fine, and I don't think he will be my partner in the future."

You two manage to laugh at the situation. A teacher approaches you.

"Miss (L/N), where is your partner? You're supposed to be with him" He asks.

Your best friend frowns.

"Seriously? After he physically assaulted her, you want her to go back to him? No way. She's staying with me!" She says, firmly grabbing your hand.

"Sorry, miss (Y/F/L/N). It's our way to ensure every student is here."

"I don't care. She's not going back to Steven, I don't trust him."

You place one hand on her shoulder.

"It's okay, (Y/F/N). Go back to your partner, I'll look for Steven" You say softly. She frowns at you.

"No, (Y/N). I'm not letting you do this."

"And I'm not letting you get in trouble because of our little disagreement. Go, I'll be fine. Kirlia's here with me."

You let go of her, quickly getting up and heading towards the elevators. It pained to leave her at that state, but you didn't want her to get into trouble because of Steven's actions.

The elevator takes you to the first floor.

I don't know if he still lives here... It's worth the shot, though.

You walk up to Wattson's apartment and ring the doorbell.

No answer.

Maybe he's at the gym...

As you turned around to leave, the door opened. An angry Steven 'greets' you.

"What are you doing here?"

"Wow. I'm really happy I moved to Verdanturf, or my fist would've had a date with your mouth a long time ago" You growl. Steven seems to get caught off guard. "We need to leave. The teachers are waiting for you."

Still shocked at your quick comeback, Steven crosses his arms.

"If you want to go back to that hell hole, I'm not stopping you" He shrugs.

"Actually, you are. I can't leave without you..." Steven frowns. You continue before he gets the wrong impression. "I don't know what got into you, but can you please stop acting like a jerk? First, you push me; now stopping me from going back to school? Wow, and I saved you yesterday..."

You place one hand on your forehead. It was exhausting being around him.

"What do you mean 'saved me'? What did I ever do to you after you left me?"

You jaw drops in shock, then you start laughing.

Did he really say that?

"I left you?! Oh, yeah, I totally forgot about you after we moved... I guess you don't remember the times I made my mom walk me through Rusturf Tunnel to visit you. Remember when Rusturf Tunnel was falling apart? Yeah, and I made my mom cross it every single day so we could play together."
