**Kyle's POV**

I hung up the phone and I sat there a few seconds thinking about Bella. I wanted to talk to her so I went into her office and I was not prepared for what I saw. I walked into her office and see a half naked Bella just in her black lace bra, her sexy skirt, and her black heels. I thought I was going to bust right then and there.

She looked over her shoulder at me. "Close your mouth Winchester. I'm sure you've seen more than this before." she says to me with a little attitude in her voice. I quickly turn around so she can finish putting her shirt on.

"Okay Kyle I'm done." I turn around as she is fastening the top button of her shirt.

"What did you want Kyle?" she ask me.

"I just wanted to talk to you Bella about what happened in the conference room. I don't want you to be scared of me for beating the shit out of Rob."

"You're joking right? I am not afraid of you Kyle. I'm glad you did what you did even though I was the one that wanted to beat his face in."

"Well I actually wanted to ask you something too....W-Well theres this charity ball and I have to make an appearance and I was wondering if you would like to be my date. We would just go as colleges." I ask rubbing the back of my neck.

"Yeah, sure why not. I don't go out that much anyways. When, what time, and what do I need to wear?"

"It is tomorrow night and it starts around 8 p.m. so I figured you could leave from work around 3 and go home to get ready and I can just pick you up from your apartment. As for what to wear it's a formal thing but anything you wear is fine Bella."

"Sounds good and I will be dressed to impress. I will not embarrass you." she said and I was shocked that she even thought that she could embarrass me.

"I don't think that's possible Bella."

She blushed a little at what I said. She was so adorable but I have to contain myself. I have to keep my feelings in check. We talk a little bit and laugh and then she gets back to work and so do I. I'm going to have the most beautiful date at the charity ball.

**Bella's POV**

It's the end of the day and almost everyone is gone. I go into Mr. Winchester's office and ask if he needs anything else before I leave.

"No, Bella. I think I have everything I need. Did you get those files organized that I gave you this morning?"

I walk over and move a few papers that are spread out on his desk and hand him the files.

"Thanks Bella. I would be a complete mess if you weren't here."

"No problem Kyle. Is there anything else you need before I head home?"

"No go ahead home. I don't want Jess coming to search for you and yell at me again. She scares me."

"Yea she is a little overprotective but we've been best friends since pre-k and we have always been there for each other. She means well and she will warm up to you sooner or later just stay off her bad side." I say winking at him.

I turn to walk out of his office until I feel him grab my wrist and I turned to face him. He put his hand on my cheek gently.

"Bella, you have me now too. As a supportive and understanding boss I mean."

"Thanks Kyle." I kissed him on the cheek and went to my office and grabbed my things and walked towards the elevator. I walked out of the lobby and jumped in a cab and head home.

I unlocked the door and walked in taking my heels off. My feet are killing me and I am so ready to lay down and just go to sleep.

"Bell!!" I heard Jess yell across the apartment. Sleep will have to wait.

"Bell guess what? Blake asked me to be his date to this charity ball that is tomorrow. I am so excited!! I don't have anything to wear though Bell. I am freaking out." she said excitedly.

"Jess calm down. Kyle needed a date too because he has to make an appearance so he asked me to go with him as colleagues. We can go dress shopping tomorrow on our lunch break. I'll just meet you at our favorite dress shop. And a second date. This must be getting serious. I'm going to have to formally meet him now Jess." I say smirking at her.

"OMGOSH Bell this is perfect. I can't wait. Of course you have to meet him and you have to give him your speech. That is the ultimate test. Very few ask me out again after the speech."

"Well they need to know that if they hurt you in any way then I will hurt them. If they can't handle a very small little woman threatening them then they don't deserve a queen like you!!" I say to her.

We stay up and talk about our days and finally decide to go to bed. We have a long day tomorrow. I lay in bed thinking about the charity ball. I can't wait to get all dressed up and see Kyle in a fancy tux. I'm glad we aren't at each other throats as much anymore. Maybe this job isn't going to be too bad after all.
