I just wanted to clarify that Josh and Tyler have known each other for about three months now, okay enjoy :)

Josh had been living with Tyler for about two weeks. The two spent as much time with each other as humanly possible. Tyler practically went wherever Josh went, unless it was to use the bathroom. Josh had taken Tyler on only one date, a simple lunch date, over those two weeks.

Tyler had a great idea planned.

The weather was getting colder, being October, so he told Josh to dress in sweats and to wear a hoodie. Tyler did the same. Then he made Josh stay inside while he went out to load stuff into Josh's truck. Josh knew Tyler was up to something.

Tyler came back in and tied a t-shirt around Josh's eyes, using it as a make-shift blindfold. He led Josh out to the vehicle and helped him get in.

"Are we taking my truck, Tyler?"

"Mhm."

"Why?"

"Can't tell."

Josh groaned, resulting in a laugh from Tyler.

"Just trust me, you will love this."

"I better."

Tyler began driving into the night. He drove with his high beams on, radio off. Tyler felt an extreme sense of peace and serenity as he drove silently in the dark. Josh tried to speak but Tyler only hushed him.

"Just listen to the silence, and enjoy."

Tyler usually hated silence. There was no distraction from the thoughts running rampage in his mind. However, with Josh sitting quietly next to him, his thoughts seemed to stay submerged.

Within 20 minutes, Josh felt Tyler park somewhere and was helped out of the truck.

"Are you ready?!" Tyler asked excitedly.

"Been ready, baby," Josh laughed.

"Okay," Tyler blushed. "One, Two, Three!"

Tyler removed the t-shirt from over Josh's eyes. Josh looked around, confused.

"It's dark. I can't see anything."

Tyler let out a little chuckle.

"Well, for one, your eyes have to adjust to the darkness. And for two, look up."

Josh's gaze turned toward the sky and he let out an audible gasp. The sky was a beautiful mixture of black, purple, and blue hues. The stars twinkled as if they were waving to the crescent moon above.

"Where are we?" Josh asked in awe.

"I used to come here all the time. To clear my mind, you know? Beautiful, isn't it?"
