day 12

"wake up, al!!" caitlyn shouted.

"what time is it?" alessa asked, still struggling to open her eyes.

"8..something, i don't know."

"it's so early! why are you waking me up?" alessa whined.

"we're going shopping today! we need to find a dress for tomorrow's christmas party!" caitlyn said, "sohye and yeunjung unnie are here already and she's going with us."

"hurry!!" she added when she saw that alessa didn't budge at all.

"alright, alright!"

"this is the sixth shop already! are you not going to pick any dress?" caitlyn complained at the two remaining girls who haven't choose a dress, yeunjung and alessa.

yeunjung haven't pick a dress yet because she likes all the dresses she tried. while alessa, let's just say, she's too picky.

"that's too short!"
"i don't like the color."
"too fancy."
"not my style."

she had been saying those phrases to every single dress caitlyn picked for her. either she doesn't like the dress or she likes it but they don't have her size, since her body is quite petite.

"this is the last, i promise! i saw a cute dress from the store window! if they have my size, we're done!" alessa said.

"yea! i promise, i'll choose one now!" yeunjung added.

the two girls scurried off to the dress section and starts looking for the dresses.

in the end, alessa picked a white-peach sleeveless dress that stops right at her knees.

"that's so pretty!!!" caitlyn squealed when alessa tried on the dress.

"you have such a good taste!" sohye commented in awed.

yeunjung, on the other hand, finally picked a short white dress with long sleeve.

"yeunjung-ie! you're so pretty!" sohye said dramatically.

"do i look fat in this, though?" yeunjung asked.

"you look great, unnie," alessa said, "the dress is perfect for you!"

"okay! let's change and pay for these."

"what should we eat now?" sohye asked as they finished their shopping now.

"we can't eat too much or our dress wouldn't fit tomorrow," yeunjung said.

"hmm, ddeok? two portions for four?" caitlyn offered.

"sure! there's a place that sells the best ddeokbeokki here!" yeunjung said and lead the way.

when they entered the restaurant, they immediately ordered and waited.

while waiting, a couple suddenly came to them,

"whoa! yeunjung-ah!"

the girls looked up and saw kyulkyung..and jinyoung.

"ey! kyulkyung and jinyoung! are you guys on a date?" sohye asked.

"nah~ just hanging out," jinyoung replied almost immediately, "can we join you girls?"

"sure! we ordered already, though," caitlyn said as, somehow, jinyoung sat next to alessa and kyulkyung sat in front of him, next to yeunjung.

the two skimmed through the menu and then ordered their food.

"so, you girls finished your shopping?" jinyoung asked and the four girls nodded.

"oh, you two are coming tomorrow?" kyulkyung asked caitlyn and alessa.

"yea, caitlyn is with daehwi while al is with me," jinyoung replied and kyulkyung was taken aback at his reply.

"oh."

"you know, alessa's dress is so cute!" sohye squealed, "maybe i should buy that dress, too."

"you should! we could be twinning!" alessa said and the two hi-fived.

"ah really?" kyulkyung asked, forcing a smile.

"don't tell me you bought a green dress?" jinyoung asked, teasing the girl beside him.

"what? no! i don't like green that much!"

"your suitcase is green, you brought your 'favorite' green shoes, your bracelet is green and your phone case is green," jinyoung pointed out.

"very observant, i see," alessa teased back.

"how can i not notice, though?" jinyoung shrugged.

"whoa, jinyoung! i've never seen you talk that much to a girl!" yeunjung said.

"not even kyulkyung!" sohye said and immediately looked at kyulkyung, "no offense, though. sorry, unnie."

"is he that quiet?" caitlyn asked.

"yes! he never talks more than 10 words in a sentence with us," yeunjung said.

"he talks a lot with us, though," alessa said, "but yes, he was so quiet at first."

"you started to be talkative too lately," caitlyn told her.

"ah, is that so? i guess i'm now comfortable with all of you, that's a good thing, right?"

"comfortable to the fact that you two have matching phone case?" sohye teased.

"omg! you're right!" yeunjung said and slapped sohye's arm making the other girl winced in pain.

"this was accidental. blame him for choosing the same one," alessa said, giving a playful glare at jinyoung.

"me? it was you who copied me!" jinyoung retorted, "but hey! we got a discount for this!"

"i'm starting to doubt you guys again," caitlyn said.

"we're not—"

alessa was cut off by the waiter who served them their order. the group then started eating in silence.
