"Stop right there!" I couldn't stop, compelled to go to the door. "Did you not hear me, boy?" I carried on walking, a knot of fear tightening in my stomach. "Why, you little - Crucio!" I collapsed to the floor, thrashing around in excruciating torture. This curse had snapped me out of Snape's; the Imperius curse. I think I started screaming, but I was too focused on this path of insanity to hear myself. I could barely make out a cry of blurred words, before the agony was whisked away, leaving me gasping for breath on the marble floor.
"What are you doing, Bellatrix?" Snape was here, almost defending me.
"Having a little fun. And, you haven't interrogated him yet." Snape's lips curled, hiding his fear.
"I will get onto that, while you go tend to the Dark Lord." Bellatrix frowned, and I held my breath.
"No, I want to have some fun." She looked down at me and smiled. "I have plenty of things planned for you." My eyes bulged, and my breaths quickened once more. Bellatrix grabbed me by the hair and pulled me to my feet. I winced, obeying her. Snape frowned at Bellatrix, before walking away, his cloak whisking away my hope.
We climbed the stairs to the attic in silence, apart from an occasional giggle from Bellatrix; this would make me shiver, and she would relish this. We reached the top, and I waited for a kick or a curse; nothing. My back was to her, but I could hear her moving around. "Now," She sighed, making my stomach flip. "What should we do with you?" I turned around, facing her. She was smirking; a crazed look dancing around in her eyes. "First question." She said, making me jump. "Where is Harry Potter?" She smiled, a kind expression overpowering her true evil intentions.
"H-He's dead." I stammered, knowing what lay ahead for me. Surely she knew this, since she had carried out the deed herself. She slowly pulled a knife out of her high-heeled boot, testing me. She breathed out heavily, smiling while turning it around in her hands.
"The part of the Dark Lord that was inside of him didn't disappear, because he didn't kill Harry himself. This means that Potter is still out there, his soul trapped at the place of his death. I went there myself, looking for him. Instead, I found more ghosts. Some people call it a curse, because the students who died at the Battle of Hogwarts will linger until we find Harry, and destroy him. It is not a curse, it is an undeserved gift for those families. We will find Harry Potter, and send him far from this world. Now, enough chit-chat!" She stood up, walking towards me. I didn't know what to do, as she brought the blade up and sliced my neck. It wasn't deep enough to kill me, but it bled and stung; it was going to leave a scar. "Crucio!" Once again, I crumpled to the floor in intense agony.
After the torturous interrogation, Snape appeared.
"I'm taking him to the cell." He said sternly, hiding all emotion. Bellatrix sighed, waving her hand and telling me to go. I darted for the door, smiling at Snape thankingly. He didn't smile back; in fact, he didn't do anything. He simply turned around and walked away, expecting me to follow.
