Nefarious Presumption

Torsten groggily opened his eyes seeing Sophie lying next to him, her body wrapped in blankets and his arm wrapped tightly around her waist. He leaned in pressing a kiss against her cheek causing her to stir in her sleep turning to face him as a smile tugged at her lips. Brushing some hair out of his face she pulled his face down and their lips connected. Once the two pulled apart Torsten sighed brushing her hair out of her face as he hovered above her. "I never thought I'd sleep with someone that's probably 40 times my age." Sophie commented with a small laugh escaping her lips making Torsten chuckle with her.

"I've always slept with people much younger than me but that's because there aren't enough good looking thousand year old people running around." Torsten pointed out with a shrug, his laughter echoing with ease.

"So...where do we go from here?" Sophie asked.

"Relationships forged in the middle of a war are doomed my darling. But I have my hopes. I care for you." Torsten boldly informed her as he leaned down pressing a soft kiss against her lips making her smile into the kiss pushing him away tiredly.

"I care about you as well. I have for a while now." Sophie shared with him as she felt her heart beating against her rib cage nervously hammering and she knew Torsten could hear it. This only made his smile grow wider as he pressed another kiss to her lips.

"I hoped that was the case Sophie." Torsten whispered just as his phone went off. Torsten groaned reaching over seeing a text from Rebekah demanding he come home. "As it so happens, my family waits for no one, and I cannot deny them." Torsten groaned kissing Sophie's cheek before getting out of bed and dressing. Sophie sat up putting a shirt on and walking over to Torsten.

"Thank you for last night, I really needed someone and I'm glad you were that someone." Sophie thanked him softly and Torsten paused walking over to her taking her face in his hands brushing her hair behind her ear.

"You make me feel simple Sophie. Like seems simple when I am gifted with your presence. It's miraculously beautiful. I shall see you soon." Torsten whispered kissing her forehead and disappearing out of the house making Sophie jump feeling a sense of betrayal knowing she was only using his family. As Torsten walked into the house from the back with a Milk Carton in his hand he smiled brushing past Rebekah.

"Looks like someone had a fun night." Rebekah drawled out teasingly as Torsten shook his head with a smirk.

"Hey I know I'm the only person in this house who actually drinks milk but could you make sure it's on the grocery list?" Hayley complained as Torsten held up the milk handing it to Hayley.

"I'm ahead of you Hayley." Torsten grinned brightly as Rebekah stormed out of the room.

"Thank you Torsten." Hayley smiled.

"I do hope my siblings were hospitable to you in my absence." Elijah drawled out looking down at the cup he had in hand. Torsten let out a bright grin as he slammed his hand on Elijah's shoulder.

"I'm always hospitable brother. DO not be absurd." Torsten drawled out with a chuckle.

"In your absence is a way too polite way of saying your brother stabbed you in the back." Hayley called out.

"I do believe it was the front. If he stabbed Elijah in the back let's just say he would have been a lot more pissed." Torsten pointed out howling with laughter.

"Must everything be a joke to you?" Elijah asked with a sigh.

"Oh I thought you found that endearing Lijah. No matter, I made sure Hayley was well looked after. God shot by arrows for her, got my throat ripped out because of her. You know the usual amount of effort I go to for a woman. But on the plus side, I see a lot more of Sophie than I initially thought." Torsten cheekily grinned finding himself quickly infatuated with the beauty. He then waltzed out of the room with a cheeky smile in place. "The poisoned tree?" Torsten asked appearing behind Klaus with a dazed smile.
