Arriving back at his home, Adrien let the transformation dissipate and collapsed onto his bed, smiling at the ceiling, hearing small snickering from his small kwami.

"What is it Plagg?" the boy asked him, not able to wipe the smile away from his face.

"You seriously are love sick. I almost can't believe you didn't demand you stay and cuddled with her all night" the small kitten said with a smirk, crossing his arms with an invisible but implied raised eyebrow.

"You heard her Plagg. She needs sleep. And if my princess wishes for solitude, then it doesn't matter what I want" he said dreamily as he thought of Marionette. He had already fallen for her with the mask, but without? She was almost an entirely different person, and he loved every bit of her.

He had only realized a couple moments later that he had just admitted to loving Marionette, and he couldn't be happier. He was in love with the girl in whom he felt was his soul mate. His other half. And it was amazing. Not to mention, it wasn't just a feeling, but how it was set. She was his soulmate.

"Yeah, but I mean, she could have slept with you there. It's not like she hasn't, what, two times already? Three? I don't even remember anymore..." The cat said with a groan, rubbing his temples as he floated to the white nightstand and laid down.

"Two at this point. And yes, she could have, but I assume she felt she would sleep better on her own, and that is for her to decide, not me" Adrien said with a sigh before adjusting so he was under his covers, smiling to himself as he thought of the girl. "I hope she can come to school tomorrow" and with that, he pulled one of his many extra pillows down and hugged it while laying on his side before drifting off to sleep.

Marionette groaned as she woke up to a knock on the trapdoor that led to her room.

"Come in..." The groggy girl called as she yawned and rolled over in her bed, looking to the door with a confused look on her face. Usually her parents just walked in.

After opening the hatch however, her mother looked at her with a shocked and worried expression.

"Marionette! If you don't get ready quickly you're going to be late!" She alerted, sending the signal to her daughter that she would be going to school that day.

Jumping out of bed, a worried and shocked look on her face, she thanked her mother and rushed to get ready. Instead of her usual clothes, she decided something a bit looser would probably be better for her stitches as they wouldn't be coming out for a while longer. Adorning a simple black tank-top that hung loosely around her, she slipped into some skinny jeans as well as a pair of boots. Might as well mix up the whole outfit if she was going to mix it up a bit. She then ran to the bathroom and brushed her hair out, deciding to leave it down as it would simply be easier. After applying the little makeup she wore, just a bit of concealer and some mascara, she bounded out of the bathroom and grabbed her bag before quickly making her way down the trap door.

"Alright Maman! Papa! I'm off to school!" She shouted as she started towards the door.

"Wait! You didn't forget about breakfast did you?" Tom questioned as he brought over some freshly made croissants as well as some coffee and pain killers. "The school is just across the street. How about you have some coffee before you head off?" He pleaded, not wanting his precious little girl to go back off to school while still injured.

"Papa, I'll be fine. I know you're worried, but I'm feeling much better" the injured girl spoke with such a happy and comforting tone that her father had to believe her.

"Alright alright. But you're still at least taking your pain killers" he insisted, handing her the coffee and the small white tablets with a look that begged with a non spoken 'for me?'
