As I sat there, blinded of any color that wasn't black, I thought. I thought about.. them. My best friend. My new friends. My Mom. My.. Pene. All of them. I wonder what they're doing? I thought to myself. Are they.. alright? I couldn't tell for myself. As I tried to move my arm, it wouldn't budge. I slowly looked down to see shackles. Shackles that wrapped around my wrist and tied it down to the floor. Huh. I guess he really wants me to stay put, huh? I said in my head. I tried to form a smile. A frown. A smirk. Anything. But... I couldn't. I felt.. drained. I felt like I was dying. Actually, I think I already was. I was shot right in the head. So, of course, I'm dead. What a shot, though. Never took her for a deadeye I tried to joke. But, nothing. No chuckle. No giggle. Nothing. I hope they're okay... even without me there... I hope she's alright...

As I climbed up the final steps of the stairs, I was greeted with a green, rusting door. I knew where it would lead. So, I held the doorknob and gently opened the door. As soon as it opened, I felt a breeze hitting against my face. Fresh air. I was now on the top of Phoenix. I looked at my surroundings just in case. Thankfully, there was nothing. I walked forward slowly. I then saw the morning sun slowly rising up. It was so bright, I thought I would go blind if I kept looking at it. As I continued tip-toeing, I noticed something. My feet. They.. they weren't touching the floor. I was then guided towards a figure that was also off the ground. "Ah, Angel, Welcome back! What took you so long?" It asked, with their back turned to me. Once they turned around, I got a better view of it, I was stricken with something that you'd only see in your darkest of nightmares. What I saw was a broken shell of what used to be someone I loved so much. He was covered from head-to-toe with dozens of holes covering his body, dry rivers of blood running down his drained, grey skin, and dried blood splattered on his tattered suit.

Only one of his eyes remained normal, while the left eye was emptier and blacker than a void. With a red light replacing the pupil of the right eye. Whatever carcass of Anthony this was, it was beyond repairing.. and.. saving. "What? Surprised by my new look? Yeeeeeah, about that... I had a little run-in with the fuzz. But, all it took was a few bullets to butcher the pigs!" He giggled, almost ignoring what he had just said. Even after hearing that sickening sentence, I still had to remain calm. I couldn't blow my cover. "Sorry, had some trouble of my own. Not only was it hard navigating through these halls, but those a-assholes also pinned me to the floor with a column! A. Fucking. Column! No thanks to you!" I said, trying to think of what Angel would probably say. I don't think I ever swore so freely in my life. But, I had to in order to sound as "angry" as I could. I hope it worked. "Jeez, calm down, princess. Sorry that I'm plotting up here and can't attend to your precious human needs" He scowled as he rolled his eye.

He then turned his back around again with his hands locked together. He then sighed. "Can you believe that my plan is almost complete? It's almost time for the world to see that I am a force to be reckoned with," He says in a deep tone. "After years of endless darkness, years of sitting in a cage, my time is soon to be in full session,". He just looked at the sky for a moment of silence. "So, tell me, Angel, how many victims lives did you take while scavenging through the building?" He then asked, turning back around to face me. "Hmm. About five to six people. I wanted to save some for the both of us, you know?" I lied, faking a confident smile. "Awww, that's so thoughtful of you," He cooed. "But still, that's a rookie amount. I can take that many lives in my sleep. I have, once. I already told you about that. But, no need to worry, my little Angel, because once I take over, I'll give you all the practice you need to sharpen your skills. That's all these useless mortals are made for anyways," He began to rant.

"Nothing but wandering targets to practice on. They're weak, anyways. A single cut could kill them. Pathetic" He says. "How relatable" I said. "Finally! Someone who shares my opinions!" He booms, twisting his head around with a sharp grin. "Say, what was that gun you used earlier anyways, I'm quite curious. You never exactly explained to me what the hell that thing was" I ask. "Oh, of course.." He then snapped his fingers and out came the gun as it fell into his hands. "This is my very special, custom made gun that has three separate colored panels. Each color has a different effect on the bullet! Red blinds any foes, no matter what they are, green separates anyone if fused, and can do the opposite, and blue eliminates any entity!," He explained. "You've seen how it works already, correct?". "Of course I have. But may I handle it? I want to get used to the way it'll feel if I ever needed to use it" I said. "Sure, but only for a few moments" He says, levitating the gun towards me and letting me back onto the floor to use it.
