"Run." "Run." "Run." From every corner, all I can hear is, "Run." I'm in a small dim hallway, and the walls are painted dark red and each way I turn, leads me back to many more hallways that just look the same. I think I'm in a maze of some sort. The voices wont stop, and they get louder and louder with each turn. I take a left turn and end up in front of an enormous metal door. The door is bent, and barely hanging, thanks to the support of three door hinges. Three isn't even enough for a door that big, Something very big and power full must have broken in, because its so thick. It wouldn't take four nuclear bombs to open it.OK maybe one nuclear bomb would, but its just massive.
The voices stopped. All that was left, was a continuous low whisper, that keeps echoing, "Faith."
Everything looks so creepy, yet I'm not scared. It feels right going through the door, but wrong at the same time. I noticed it was very cold, because my breath was visible, and my knuckles turned red.
As I entered the room, the lights went on and quickly shut off again. In the split second, when the light was turned on, I saw a man standing about thirty feet away from me.
My feet slowly picked up from the grounded and headed towards the man. I wasn't controlling my body. It wasn't me who was moving my legs. I tried to scream, but my voice was gone.
As I neared the man, I noticed he was very tall. Was it Death? I mean, who else could be a hundred feet tall stalker?
My feet stopped moving when I was only a foot away from the strange man. He brought his left hand up and lightly caressed my right cheek. It felt so right, being this close to him. I feel like I need his touch. His presence.
"Close youre eyes, cupcake." He said, in his velvety voice. This is definitly Death. I squint my eyes, to try and see his face, because I could tell his hood is off. Death chuckled, in a deep voice.
"Close your eyes. There's nothing to see here." He said, and my eyes obediently shut closed.
I could see, though. Are my eyes closed? I noticed I was watching what was happening, but I wasn't in my body. I feel like I'm watching a movie. Death pulled out his scythe from the inside of his robe, holding it in his right hand while still caressing me/my twin with the other. What is he doing?
Suddenly, Death drew his scythe back, "Death, no!" I screeched, realizing what hes doing.
blood splattered on his face. And my head fell of my body.
I sat up quickly, heart in my throat, and tears spread over my cheeks and sweat all over my back and forehead. That wasn't a dream. It couldn't be, it felt too real. Almost like it was a distant memory.
"Sweet dream ? cupcake?" That voice. It sent shivers down my back.
"Get the hell out." I said looking up, hoping to meet his eyes, but of coarse, as always I saw nothing of his face, only his long body leaning on my parents living room wall, across the couch where I was sitting up,trying to find a way not to go all Jackie Chan on this guy, for cutting my head off.
"Your parents really should have taught you some manners." He said.
Ignoring his unnecessary comment, I got off the couch, and walked over to stand in front of him. He was so tall. I got so used to it, but now that I really focus on it, I could see that It looks so unnatural. Was he always so tall? Even before making a deal with the devil, and becoming an angel.
"You smell like meat." He said breaking my train of thoughts. I didnt realize how close his face was to mine.
"You're not hungry. So, stop trying to scare me Death." I stated, knowing, because my stomach didn't hurt.
