Escaping Love

~ Jackie's POV ~

Things have gone back to the way they are with Charlotte and I. After last night, we resolved everything. She had woken up in the morning with a grin that was from ear to ear. She was laying on her side, facing me, her eyes were on mine and her fingers tucked a strand of hair behind my ear. Stroking my cheek with her thumb and running her hand slowly down to my chest. I smiled back at her actions.

I then snuggled closer into her and felt her kiss the top of my head. "How are you doing?" I asked her.

"Better... now that we are back and okay with everything at the moment." She mumbled, "Did your parents say anything about when and what time our flight back to Seattle is?"

"They said that our flight is tomorrow morning at 11:00am."

She sighed and nodded, "Okay," she stayed quiet after that and all I heard was her breathing. I looked up at her and she was looking at the light shining a little through the curtains.

"Uncle Tim was talking to me last night before I came into this room, was that they wanted to go out and take a walk today in the afternoon and get dinner, he said that they made reservations at the Around The World Buffet, the one we always went to back then when both of us used to live here."

She chuckled, "Do you remember going there, getting like only two 'decent' portions of food before just hitting the desserts and bringing back ice cream and cake slices?"

"Oh my gosh, yes." I grinned, "We should do that tonight just for old time sakes."

"Or... instead, we can just stay in this bed all morning and afternoon, skip the shopping and walking, and just lay together until we actually need to get up and get ready to be at the buffet." She said. "I just feel to lazy and tired and just want to stay here with you... and only you. I just want to spend today in a happy mood."

"I know baby. But, you know we do have the rest of the week after we get back. Though this idea does sound very lovely, but I actually want to go out and enjoy the rest of our time together here before we leave."

"Yeah, but..."

"But..." I interrupted, "We can be us here, we can hold each other's hands in public. I can kiss your lips without worry... and wrap my arms around you... and no one back in Seattle would know." I countered.

"...True." She said and I saw that smile reappear upon her lips.

I kissed her and a pleasuring sound left her lips, "We should get up, start the day with a great breakfast." I smiled.

She groaned and took a glance at the clock behind her, "It's only eight in the morning babe, please... just one more hour." She whined. I stayed silent and all she did was transfer and shift her body that was laying next to me and decided to just roll and post herself above me, her hair falling down and lightly, very lightly, waving over my skin. Then she went down on her forearms, burying her face in the crook of my neck. "Please."

There was a light grin that definitely appeared on my lips with the way she had said those words, "...alright."

"Yay." She said and kissed my neck, keeping her body on top of mine, staying in the current position. I felt the steady breaths and let my eyes stare up at the ceiling and I can just feel how relaxed she is at the moment, in my arms, laying here with me.

Walking down the sidewalks and streets of the city setting, arriving at the mall, we went in and the family, in deed, had to drag us to the food court first. And of course, Charlotte and I decided to 'sneak' off and walk around the mall, just the two of us, together. Her fingers laced with mine as we walked into different clothing stores, shoe stores, gaming stores and art stores... My phone rang and I got a call from my mom and said to meet them at the women's clothing shop next to the perfume center.
