Better sad than dead
STORYLINE: It's been almost a week since Bellamy broke up with you. You've been miserable and all you can think about is him.
"Let me go." You said, trying to escape from his grip.
"You're not going anywhere, until I get that wristband out of your wrist." Murphy said, smirking and squeezing your arm more tightly.
"Murphy, let her go." A deep voice said.
"But..."
"I said, Let. Her. Go." Murphy took a last evil look at you and released your arm, walking away. "Did he hurt you?"
You shook your head. "Thanks."
"You're welcome." He stretched his hand. "I'm Bellamy."
You smiled and grabbed his hand. "Y/n."
"Y/n? Y/n, are you even listening to me?" Raven shouted, pulling you out of your memory.
"What? Yes, of course." You said, continuing to work.
Raven looked at you with a sarcastic look and crossed her arms over her chest. "So, what was I saying?" You looked at her trying to remember what she had been talking about, but you didn't remembered. "Yeah, that's what I thought. What's going on with you?"
"Nothing, I'm just tired." It was not exactly a lie, you were tired, but it was not the tiredness that was keeping you distracted. It was him.
"What do you say if we take a break?" Raven said, pushing you toward the exit of the room. "Let's grab something to drink."
"We have work to do, Raven." You tried to protest but you eventually let her dragged you.
"And to think that me and you could be friends." You shouted, running after him. You could feel everyone on camp watching the two of you.
He turned around, angry. "Yeah, we can't be friends. You're just another arrogant, stupid and privileged little girl, lucky charm."
You and Raven entered the little bar, seeing a few people taking their own breaks. "Is this break time or something?" Raven laughed. You two walked toward the bar counter and ordered your drinks. You were looking around the room, when your eyes fell on the person who had just entered.
Bellamy stopped when he catch your gaze. You two stood still looking at each other, but he quickly broke the eye contact, walking toward the table where Miller was.
"I'm guessing the 'break up phase' is still going on?" Raven said, making you look at her.
"Because he wants to." You muttered, taking a sip from your drink, that the bartender had placed in front of you.
"Well, Kane doesn't make it easy for him too, you know that right?"
"Bellamy is many things, but he's not a coward. He can handle my father." You took a look at the table where he was, to see Miller looking at you. But when he saw you looking, he quickly looked away. You could tell that they were talking about you too.
"Man, she looks really sad." Miller said to Bellamy.
"Better sad than dead." He said, looking away.
"You guys love each other. You don't want her to get hurt because of you, but you're hurting her." Miller said, trying to reason with him. "You two look like zombies, when apart. Just go talk to her."
Bellamy took a look at you. All he wanted was to go to you, kiss you and tell you how much he loved you. "I can't. Is better this way."
"I shouldn't have said that. I'm sorry."
"Is that what you really think of me?" You asked him, with a sad look. "That I'm stupid and arrogant?"
"No, of course not. I was just mad at you." He said taking a step closer to you. He lifted your chin, making you look at him. "You're nothing of that things. You're my lucky charm, remember?" You gave him a little smile and hugged him.
It had been four days since Abby had released you from that awful bed on the medial room and six days since Bellamy had broken up with you. You had been walking around camp like a freaking sad ghost, you cried every night and all you wanted to do was disappeared.
"You should go talk to him."
"Don't you think I tried?" You had tried to talk to Bellamy, but he or wouldn't listen to you or simply disappeared during all day. But today he was just a few meters from you and you were going to make him listened to you. "But I can tried one more time."
You stood up and started walking toward him, but you quickly stopped, when you saw a girl approaching the table, hugging and kissing Bellamy on the cheek. You felt your heart dropping and tears forming on your eyes. Had he already moved on? You though to yourself.
Seeing Miller worried face, Bellamy turned his head, seeing you running away from the room and Raven calling out for you.
"Oh shit, I think she got the wrong idea." Miller said. Bellamy stood up and ran after you.
"This is so beautiful." You said, with a big smile on your face.
"Yes it is." Bellamy said, not taking is eyes off of you.
"How did you find this place?" You asked, turning around to look at him.
"I found it, while I was hunting." Bellamy walking toward you. "But is a secret, so, don't tell anyone."
"If it's a secret why did you tell me?" You asked, walking toward him too.
"I trust you." You two were standing right in front of one another, closer than ever. He looked at your lips and then at your eyes again. "I trust you, lucky charm." He cupped your face, making you close your eyes, at his warm touch. A second later you felt his lips touching yours for the first time. You smiled into the kiss and instantly wrapped your arms around his neck, kissing him back, with the same exactly passion. When the need for air was unbearable, you broke the kiss. "You have no idea how long I've wanted to do that." He said. His forehead pressed against yours and his hands on your waist.
You smiled and bit your lip. "Do you want to do it again?" Bellamy laughed and pressed his lips on yours again, giving you the answer.
