The particle "no" denotes possession it also denotes a specific subject. Use "no" between two noun.
Eigo (English) - Nihongo
My, mine - Watashi "no"
Your, yours - Anata "no"
Her, hers - Kanojo "no"
His - Kare "no"
Their, theirs - Karera "no"
Examples:
1. The teacher's hobby is cooking. - Sensei "no" shumi wa ryori desu.
2. My hobby is reading. - Watashi "no" shumi wa dokusho desu.
3. Her course is Tourism. - Kanojo "no" semon wa kanko desu.
4. The foreigner's hobby is judo. - Gaijin "no" shumi wa juudou desu.
5. Her hobby is basketball. - Kanojo "no" shumi wa basuketsuboru desu.
6. She is a Filipino student. - Kanojo wa Firipinjin "no" gakusei desu.
7. My friend is a foreigner student. - Watashi "no" tomodachi wa gaijin "no" gakusei desu.
8. The Japanese student is female. - Nihonjin "no" gakusei wa onna desu.
9. I am a Filipino student. - Watashi wa Firipinjin "no" gakusei desu.
10. The student female is foreigner. - Gakusei "no" onna wa gaijin desu.
