I stepped out of the safety of the hotel room onto the balcony and before I knew it, my lips were placed firmly against his. I had my eyes open and saw his eyes widen before he relaxed and began to kiss back. His arms rested carefully on my hips and mine were flung around his neck. I pulled him in closer so that our cold, wet bodies were touching. He pulled away.

"That's the nicest way anybody has ever told me to shut up." He whispered, forehead against forehead. "But Dougie..." He whispered even quieter, circling patterns into my back.

"Harry, it was 15 years ago...you know I'd do anything for you. Anyway, I have you now, right?"

"Always." He smiled.

I pulled him back into a gentle kiss, we were both soaked now. I pulled away and grabbed his hand to take him inside. We both took our tops and trousers off and I never let Harry see my body because I was ashamed of it. I kept turning around so he couldn't see but he turned me around.

"Harry, no. You know I hate my body." I barely even whispered the last bit.

He placed his hands on my shoulders and looked at my body, taking in every single detail. "You're perfect," he whispered into my ear.

"I'm not." I put my head down, still ashamed of letting him see my scrawny body.

"To me, you are. You're so perfect, I don't deserve you." He whispered the last bit into my ear before kissing down my neck and ending on my lips.

After we had kissed, we knew that our boxers were still wet so I motioned to the bathroom to get towels. We both dried ourselves and put a fresh pair of boxers on. It was actually getting late and after a long day we were both very tired. We both got ready for bed but I didn't want to be alone. Harry had the same idea and he flicked the quilt back, suggesting that I get in. I got in and straight away, Harry pulled me close to the warmth of his body.

"Harry?" I said, just before falling asleep.

"Yes Dougie?"

"How long have you liked me?"

"Long enough," he answered simply.

"How long is that?"

"Doug don't push it, he said, letting out a small giggle.

"How long?"

"Six years..." he mumbled into my hair.

"Harry that's -"

"But I have you now, and that's all that matters."

I didn't answer, just smiled to myself and began to drift off. I was almost asleep when I heard Harry above me say, "I love you Dougie Lee Poynter, since the day that I met you. Always have, always will."

I think he thought I was asleep because he was shocked when I replied, "I love you too Harry Mark Christopher Judd, forever and ever."

He entwined his legs with mine and knitted our hands together which were placed tightly around me. He pulled me in closer, if possible.

This was the happiest day of my life, who says good things can't come out of thunderstorms?
