(Y/N's POV)

Once Lily and I got home we jumped on the couch. I went off and got a med pack to bandage up my hand. I bandaged it up with a little help from Lily. After that, I laid down on the couch. Lily laid down on top of me but I didn't mind.

"Tonight was one heck of a night," I said.

"Yup," Lily said.

"So I have to ask you. How come you moved so swiftly out there but when I ask you to do something you move like a snail?" I said.

"Cause I didn't feel lazy at the moment," Lily said.

"Ha ha very funny but seriously. Why did you fight them?" I said.

"Well, you told me that our family was in a gang. Soooooo I wanted to train myself just so they could accept me right away." Lily said.

I let out a let chuckle and rub her back.

"You're already in the gang. You were born into it and you'll never leave it." I said.

"Really?" Lily yawned.

"Really." I yawned.

Then we soon fell fast asleep.

*The Next Morning*

I woke up the next morning to find Lily gone. She wasn't by her table but by the empty space where I usually do my own studies. I could see that she was holding something in her hand. I look a bit closer and see it's my pocket knife. She looked to be swinging it around but not in a careless way. She looked to be training or something. I smile she wasn't kidding.

"You're holding the knife wrong and your stance is off," I said.

"Meep!" Lily squeaked.

I let out a laugh and got off the couch. I slid the knife out of her hand and held it.

"You have to have your feet more apart for a better chance of movement. You should hold the knife in only one hand just so you can hold off any extra enemies." I said.

"Why are you teaching me this?" Lily asked.

"Just so you can get comfortable with it. Who knows if you'll ever have to fight someone." I said.

"Can I fight you?" Lily asked.

I froze for a minute. I wasn't sure how to react. I should let her fight me just so she knows how to do it properly. But.... I don't want to hurt her. I'm just too overprotective of her she needs some training anyways.

"Sure just I'll go easy on you," I said.

We got into fighting positions. I stood with my fists out like normal. Lily just stood there.

"Alright...3...2..1. FIGHT!" Lily said.

Lily swiftly came at me. I dodged her first attack. I stepped back a bit trying to have as much ground as possible. Lily came to me again this time I blocked her attack. I throw her back and she slid on the floor. She came at me head on I was prepared to block and throw her back again. But at the last second, she sidestepped out of the way and came at me from the side knocking us down. That was fast I can't believe she knocked me down that fast.

"I win!" Lily shouted.

"Heh, I guess you did. That's a surprise I didn't know about that kind of attack. That was a smart attack." I said.

"Really you thought so? Thanks (N/N)!" Lily said.

"No problem little sis," I said.

"So what's today's plan?" Lily asked.

"Hmm, I don't know. Right now I just need to rest up. Those guys took up a lot of my energy last night. And my hand is probably broken. Right now I think it's good for me to rest up and get some sleep in." I said.

"Oh ok I'll make sure you're in good hands," Lily said.

"Alright just take it easy and get some reading in," I said.

I walk over to the couch and pull one of the blankets over me. I slowly start to drift asleep.

(Lily's POV)

I hope she sleeps well. But in the meantime, I can create something nice for her. I walk over to the desk and pull out some lined paper. I rip out a blank page and bring it over to the table.

"She is going to love this," I whispered.

I place the paper down and grab one of the pencils on the table. I start to draw the picture.
