The Mouth Of a Sinner

Seeing the decaying grave

Becoming grief's slave

Since he was a brave man, he entered without fright

It was his time now, he knew

He knows that without him, life for you feels like a famine or a drought

The fact that you are his daughter fills him with pride

Times may seem difficult now with him being gone

But you can't become depression's pawn

You can't let sorrow consume and control your mind

There is a beam of hope you must find

That what he would've wanted you to do

So instead of painting your existence blue

Look up and smile so that he knows you're there

That way he'll know even if Death gave your heart a tear

You are brave and powerful at heart

Impossible distance will never cause you two to grow apart

And look towards the sky
